TevfikArif – a Rich Career Filled with Exciting Real Estate Projects TevfikArif is a real estate investor and developers, as well as a reputable entrepreneur. He was born on the territory of today’s Kazakhstan who belonged to USSR at the time. Arif’sbirthname was TofikArifov. As he had an immense desire to obtain a high level of education, the businessman moved to Moscow to study international relations. After obtaining a degree in the field, the Ministry of Trade and Commerce appointed him and he spent almost two decades working in that institution. When USSR ceased to exist in 1991, Arif decided to establish the Chemicals Trading Company. During the next couple of years, he was also appointed by the Kazakh’s Trans World Group but finally decided to move to Turkey in 1993. Arif already had a business running in Turkey as he owned a jewelry company. His professional career progressed well which enabled him an opportunity to erect a luxury resort in Antalya in collaboration with Rixos Hotels. In the meantime, Arif and his brother also purchased a chromium plant in Kazakhstan and developed numerous luxury real estate properties in Azerbaijan and Turkey. The beginning of the new millennium brought exciting projects for the Turkish realty developer. TevfikArif founded Bayrock Group in 2001 in order to expand his business to the US soil. It didn’t take long for his skills and expertise to be noticed as the public was thrilled with the renovation of a shopping mall in Brooklyn. Bayrock’s headquarters were moved to the Trump Tower which facilitated contact between Arif and the current President of the United States. Together, they worked on several projects in the USA, but also Ukraine, Russia, Poland, and Turkey. There are numerous buildings worth mentioning, but arguably the most reputable one is the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Florida. When in 2011 Arif agreed to establish the Doyen Sports Investment company together with his brothers, it became obvious that he had a desire to enter the industry of sports, too. The corporation was envisioned as a hedge fund that will assist football clubs in their financial endeavors, including advisory services and loan arrangements. TevfikArif and Doyen Sports Group have also taken part in numerous transfers of worldwide football stars. The most notable name is undoubtedly Neymar and his transfer to Barcelona, but they also participated in managing football careers of Falcao, Alvaro Morata, Jose Antonio Reyes, and Eliaquim Mangala.
