![]() I came on here because I was really bored one day and was looking for some Doctor Who and Sherlock crossovers. I stayed because I liked the Fullmetal Alchemist and Harry Potter crossovers. I made an account because I decided I didn't have much better to do while waiting for updates on stories I like. I don't know if/when I'll get the nerve to actually post anything on here, but it's likely that I'll save up any multi-chapter stories and post the entire thing at once because I don't write consistently and it bothers me a bit when people leave a fic uncompleted for a year without saying that they're going on hiatus or are dropping it (mostly because I'll sit in front of my computer waiting for an update on one of my favorite stories that hasn't been updated for months on end). I am an Otaku, Whovian, Sherlockian, and Phan among other things. Facts I've Learned From Fiction: • Mankind can gain nothing without first giving something of equal value in return. (Fullmetal Alchemist) • The people who want to rule are those least suited to doing it. (The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe) • Life is full of pain. Anyone who says otherwise is selling something. (The Princess Bride) • You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it. (To Kill A Mockingbird) • If somebody forbids you from doing something, they probably have a very good reason for doing so. You'll probably end up doing it anyway. (Pet Shop of Horrors) • You can travel through 900 years of time and space, and never meet anybody who isn't important. (Doctor Who) • In real life, bad things happen. People die. Fights are lost. Evil often wins. Keep fighting onwards anyway. (Cirque Du Freak) • There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy. (Hamlet) • Your ticket to the future is always blank. (Trigun) • The human condition: People try to make themselves look smart, which makes them look stupid. (Castle) • When looking for a needle in a haystack, try asking the hays to help you look. (Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore) • Your fears don't make you worth less. They make it all the more amazing when your powers shine through. (Monk) • Our troubles are but mayflies, rising and falling between the turn of dawn and dusk. And when they are gone to the houses of memory, you and I will remain. We will endure. (Stormdancer) • Pi. The ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. And this is just the beginning. It keeps on going. Forever. Without ever repeating. Which means that contained within this string of decimals is every single other number. Your birth date, combination to your locker, your Social Security number. It's all in there somewhere. and if you convert these decimals into letters, you would have every word that ever existed in every possible combination. The first syllable you spoke as a baby, the name of your latest crush. Your entire life story from beginning to end. Everything we ever say or do... all of the world's infinite possibilities rest within this one simple circle. Now, what you do with that information... what it's good for... well, that would be up to you. (Person of Interest) • Most people are too shallow to see the beauty underneath.
