Howdy! I'm Texas! You can call me Talia or Tex if ya' want! My brother America is really nice. We watch scary movies together, even though I usually have to let him sleep with Amy because he gets so scared. Just in case you're wondering, Amy is my pet Armadillo. She can talk and she's my best friend besides Canada and the others. Anyway, America is always there for me and he protects me from Mexico, Spain, and France. Also, he says I'm his sidekick and sometimes he takes me to the World meetings with him, but most of the time i have to go to the regular old State meetings that are BORING! My other brother, Canada, is my best friend because he's really nice and he gives the best advice. Plus, he makes really good pancakes. My other brother, Mexico, is...creepy. He says he loves me more than a sister and he wants us to be married. I don't like him that much. I have lots of pets, too. I have an Armadillo, a Horse, some Longhorns, and a pet bat. My nickname is 'The Lone star State' and my motto is 'Friendship'. I used to be a nation after I succeeded from Mexico, but decided it would be best to join America, so I became a state. But' I'm the only state that joined the union by treaty. I LOVE Chili as much as Italy loves Pasta. I go to lots of Rodeos and spend my free time drawing. I have a very crazy history, too. I'm the youngest out of my brothers, but I'm not the youngest state. Hawaii is the youngest. I'm the second biggest state, which is pretty cool. My capital is Austin, who was named after Stephan F. Austin. Surprisingly, he hasn't grown that much. Austin, I mean. My favorite color is blue. In my state, we've had some bad things happen. In fact, recently there was a shooting in Fort Hood. It makes me very sad when stuff like that happens. It also makes me feel guilty, too. Anyway, I should get going.
