![]() Author has written 1 story for Shiver, Maggie Stiefvater. Book Angle here! I am new to the whole fan fiction world but I love to write. If you like what I write however, please tell me! I need the confidence boost so I can keep writing about the story you like and more new ones! I warn you though, my writing style is different from most, I still don't know if that is a good or a bad thing, I take all criticism so tell me if it is or not. Thanks!! (WARNING! Most of what I write and read is rated M or far side of T, so if you aren't old enough to be reading about what happens in an adults mind, leave now) Now let me tell you about me! I hate long bio's so I'll make it brief, sorta... I am very creative and like to show it in all that I do. Often making something simple in to an over complicated (but still beautiful) master piece, or mess. I pertain more to visual art rather then to linguistic art (writing) so don't be surprised if you see some of my art up on my stories and such. I love the country and the outdoors, taking hikes and swimming in lakes whenever I can. But I hate bugs and mice (weird huh) I love to read romance and supernatural novels (more often then not re-reading the hotter scenes over and over again) I love animals! BIG TIME!! I love all animals (excluding small rodents and large bugs, but not arachnids). I'v been known to pick up snakes as they slither by at camp as everyone else runs away. And sneak in to my neighbors horse pasture to feed them carrots and apples, despite the bulls and other violent farm animals (yes I am crazy enough to take on a angry goose). In conclusion, I am creative, I am crazy, and I LOVE ANIMALS!!!! ;P Extra: (Skip if you don't give a damn about mental problems) For those of you who wonder about my writing style or why I make so many spelling mistakes I just want to state upright the reason is because I am identified as having a learning difference (it was originally called learning disability but people found it offensive (-_-;)). When most people hear this they think of people with down or behavior syndromes but that is not always the case with a learning difference, they just think of these people because they are the ones that stand out the most and unfortunately it’s become a stereo type (T_T;). A learning difference can range anywhere from having a physical disability that affects how you learn to a mental syndrome that affects everything else, both how your body and nerves function to or how you persevere information. Even your 5 basic scenses can be affected by a mental syndrome or problem, if that itself isn't the problem. My learning difference involves my ability to communicate. I have a hard time spelling and with grammar (I spell things how they sound and grammar rules don’t make sense), I have a bad kinestetic memory (I have a hard time learning names and definitions and concepts involving numbers and even then I forget it within a week), I have a hard time discerning useful and unneeded information (I think every detail is important), and I have a hard time understanding and deciphering questions and situations. To top it off I am hearing impaired and my writing and typing speeds are slow, making it murder for my social life when it takes me over twice as long as an average person to write a proper and legible answer to a simple question. Because of all of this I had to work twice as hard as others in everything in order to keep up, but as a result I now have heightened abilities in other areas like understanding of complex or out of the box concepts. This all contributes to my writing style and it shows to those who look for it. So sorry for the spelling mistakes and such long periods between updates but it can’t be helped sometimes. Thanks for coming and for reading my spiel if you actually did. Hope you like my stories. :) |
