So I'm Katherine... I am only a junior, but I have known for years that I wanted to write.
With school and life going on I can't write as much as I would like, but even if I could I wouldn't let many people read my writings. Yep, I'm self conscious of my writing, so if you think its good please tell me. I mainly read and write fanstasy because of the abnormal adventure, but lately I've been into love stories(Probably because of my lack of one). I have a lot of story ideas, so many of my writings will just stop...
About me now: I love the cold, after rain smell, red peppers, bets bee chap stick, owls, EDWARD CULLEN!!, quills, hikes, picnics at the barn, horses, teaching, texting my BFF Heather, being a hippie... and lots more. I know high school is all about finding out who you are and finding a click for yourself. My problem: no one is like ME!! honestly I have not found one person like me. I have good friends, but we are polar opposites. I am quiet but CRAZY, believe in a soul cloud(as i call it), would rather spend the day in an field writing or a forest hiking, eat the oddest things(toast, cheese, lettuce, + pickles= AWESOME), vegetarian, tone def but sing louder than anyone anyway, hate yelling, have a weak stomoach and a fear of blood, hippie OMG SEXY EDWARD!!

I LOVEEEEE LOVE LOVE TWILIGHT!! Well, mostly Edward, but can you blame me? Just look at him. AHHHH!!

My rules for writing(taken from Kurt Vonnegut- hes awesome):

Use the time of a total stranger in such a way that he or she will not feel the time was wasted. Give the reader at least one character he or she can root for. Every character should want something, even if it is only a glass of water. Every sentence must do one of two things—reveal character or advance the action. Start as close to the end as possible. Be a sadist. No matter how sweet and innocent your leading characters, make awful things happen to them—in order that the reader may see what they are made of. Write to please just one person. If you open a window and make love to the world, so to speak, your story will get pneumoniaGive your readers as much information as possible as soon as possible. To hell with suspense. Readers should have such complete understanding of what is going on, where and why, that they could finish the story themselves, should cockroaches eat the last few pages.
