The Stories:

Pretend (in-progress): AU without A. Ali very purposely composed her group of Liars to include one who was smart, one who was loyal, one who was admiring, and one who was compassionate. (From 5x12) But what if Spencer wasn't the Brain that Ali chose, and instead, she went through high school as one of Ali's prey, the complete antithesis of her perfectly well-rounded sister, Melissa. Toby, on the other hand, was never the prey - because he had been with Emily when Ali picked her (like in the show where he is her beard for the dance), and so the Jenna Thing never happened. When all Spencer wants is to make her parents think she is as impressive and wonderful as her sister to make them proud of her, how far will her desperation take her? How far will she go in her game of pretend? Spoby.

Second Time Around (in-progress): Ali and Spencer were always at odds - they loved and fought like sisters, and Spencer was always the only one to stand up to the force that was Ali. When she went missing, a shadow lurking in the night sought vengeance. In the likeness of -A, Spencer alone is tormented for what they thought she'd done. To cope, Spencer turns to a second life filled with sex and drugs. Toby, Rosewood's resident bad boy returns to town after a stint in juvie and they find solice in each other. Too afraid to get too close, things fall apart but they are left with one very strong tie. What happens when they get a second chance to pursue each other years later? Spoby.

Quite Like You (on hold): In the battle between darkness and light, light will always shine through. Spencer and Toby both learn of the darkness consuming one another, and try to bring their light to one another. After all, lighting somebody else's candle won't make yours go out, it will only create a brighter light and a greater warmth. AU where Alison was the body found and -A does not exist (although this part may change slightly, in terms of something/someone getting in the way with blackmail, but it will likely not be the -A we all love to hate.) Starts at the season 1 finale at the bell tower, and many parts are loosely based on episodes. I am updating this one fairly quickly because I enjoy it, but I may slow down if I am not getting reviews letting me know people are interested in my continuing the story. It is a lot of Spoby fluff with some drama and darkness. The other Liars will make appearances, but are not the main characters. Rated T for mostly drama. If I add any graphic scenes (triggers or sexual content) I may not change the rating, but just put a warning on the chapter as well as the place in the chapter it comes up, so it can be skipped by those who are not interested, but they can still enjoy the rest of the story.

NEW (title tba) (Upcoming): You would do anything for your best friend, right? Even marry them? Spencer and Caleb were practically a duo, where there was one, the other was usually close behind. Best friends 'til the very end. A breakup or two, a new living arrangement and the burn of whisky in their throats tempted their friendship over a boundary they'd never intended to cross, just for one night. When the night they agreed to forgive and forget results in two little pink lines a few weeks later, there is no question Caleb will be there for his best friend - he pleads to marry her, to have a life together. They love each other with all their hearts - just not in that way - but that's okay, he wants to do right, he wouldn't want to do this with anybody else. She obliges, and they start to build a life together in preparation for their little addition and with it, a creation of a new little family. When the unimaginable happens and the thing that prompted the life they planned to build is lost, both are heartbroken. Caleb wakes up one morning to find that Spencer's left, with nothing but a tear-stained scribble left behind. Can they re-build the friendship they had and continue the life they had begun to build together, or will the pain prove too heavy and break the bond between the two? Is friendship love enough to keep a marriage together? Caleb's quest will be to find Spencer to sort this all out.

(title tba) (Upcoming): Spencer and Andrew just made sense. They challenged each other; made each other stronger. They were the two most driven people in their class, and together, they seemed to be unstoppable. But the PLL's think that their competition is a little less than friendly. Fast forward a few years, and they are still together, although they are practically different people - the power struggle still alive as ever. What happens when a starry-eyed carpenter moves in next door and offers a fresh pair of eyes to the situation, and more to Spencer than she could ever imagine.

All About You (Upcoming): Spoby in an AU where Toby is from Ravenswood, and they meet every summer at camp from when they were children. Camp becomes the safe place to land for both of them. (Their situations will be similar, in terms of toxic relationships, bullying, and darkness). They become each others' best friends, and maybe more. What will happen when one of them does not show up at camp one summer? Will they ever find their safe places to land ever again? I mostly write Spoby, although I may be open to other PLL pairings, as well as Gilmore Girls, Dance Moms, Friends, the Fosters, and Suits. I used to exclusively write 7th Heaven, so if any of those fans still exist out there I would totally love to talk; there will always be a soft spot in my heart for some of those characters and pairings.

Fun fact: My story titles are all based on songs, but I may not always give away what song it is from, as to not spoil the ending of the story. You are more than welcome to guess if you think you've gotten it! Just a fun little thing I like to do since I am heavily influenced by music.
