Hello Everyone! I'm AceTrace, but feel free to call me Ace or AT or any other nickname you come up with ;). I love to write, that is, when I'm not busy with training my horse or concentrating on my college studies.

What I write: so far, I have written mostly Phantom Stallion fanfics. Lately, however, I have taken on a Twilight fanfic. Outside of the fanfic world, I write whatever story comes to mind. I am currently working on a series of books. I have an entire plot line written down, but am just beginning to actually write the books. I am hoping that one day I can publish them. I also am working on a few other writing projects, and also editing a bunch of stories I wrote when I was much younger.

What I do when I'm not writing: Well, I have a passion for horses, and for kids, and I love my dog. So a lot of the time, you can find me hanging out at the barn I board my horse at. If I'm not there, I am probably babysitting, playing with my dog or younger brother, or role playing with my friends.

About my current work with horses: I met my horse when I began riding at the barn he was at in the summer of 2010. A month after taking lessons there, I was introduced to him. The next lesson I had, I rode him. He was the kind of horse that everyone was scared of. His previous owner hardly ever rode him, so he wasn't really handled much. At first, I was scared of him, and our lessons were awful. But then we slowly started to "connect". Now, he is one of the sweetest horses at the barn, and no one can resist liking him. Even my Mom, who used to be terrified of horses, asks for pony rides on him. In November of 2011, my parents managed to buy him for me. He is the perfect horse for me, despite the times when he dumps me or something. Everybody has their bad days. I have also just started teaching my Mom to ride! So far, it's been a blast.

Ten fun facts about my horse: 1. He is a big Quarter Horse Warmblood cross gelding. 2. He and his best friend, Topsy, are the two prettiest horses at the barn. 3. He has earned his nickname "Big Scared Baby" and lives up to it. 4. He is a wonderful trail horse (normally). 5. He is a fast learner. 6. His jumping form is perfect, he just needs to learn to not jump 1ft jumps as if they are 3 feet tall. 7. His show name is Puttin' On The Ritz. 8. His most used nicknames are Winsty, Baybay, Ritzy, Bud, and Baby. 9. The only word that really can describe him is "regal". 10. Lime green is the color of his halter, tack, and accessories (not my favorite color, but it looks awesome on him). Bonus fact: I wouldn't trade him for any other horse. He holds my heart, and always will.

A few fun facts about my dog: 1. He has earned his name, Buster Bear, and lives up to it. 2. His birthday is July 19, 2007. 3. He is a spitz/terrier mutt. 4. We have had several people ask what breed he is, in hopes of having a dog as cute as he is. 5. He is full of energy. 6. He loves attention, but doesn't always get as much as he should. 7. He is very protective of me. 8. My siblings and I constantly give him new nicknames. If we kept track of all the nicknames he has had, the list would be... long. 9. He has been there for me through a lot of tough things in my life. 10. I wouldn't trade him for any other dog. Even on days that he decides to ignore me. Bonus fact: Very rarely does he have a collar that is not some type of camouflage.
