I used to read only general fanfiction; then I was a hardcore Ron/Hermione Shipper (I still am). And I mostly read those and Harry/Ginny fics.
Then I started to explore and think of the oddest pairings I could think of.
That is when I discovered slash, mostly Remus/Sirius slash. Now I mostly read those, but I don’t limit myself, you can pair anyone together and as long as the plot and the writing are good, it can work!

But don't worry if you don't like slashyness, none of my stories so far are slash.

There's more I'm sure, but wouldn't it be cool to write about random characters like, Lisa Turpin and Euan Abercrombie or Mandy Brockelhurst and Owen Cauldwell?

Most disturbing pairings I’ve ever read about:
Umbridge/Voldemort (Umbridge/Anyone for that matter)
McGonagall/Mad-Eye Moody
Darnnit, most of the elderly characters, sorry.

Oh and I don’t really like to read Harry/Hermione, Tonks/Remus, Older Snape/?
But that doesn’t mean I don’t respect the writers who support these. I do. Oh, And Tonks/Remus is pretty cute in the book.

My new thing is Marauder fics. I absolutely LOVE them. The time period is much easier to work with, so you get some interesting stories. I would love to write one some day.
