After being banished from the Fire Nation, Zuko struggles to learn earthbending and step into the role of the Avatar. He desperately wants to make amends for his father's crimes, but whether he will get that second chance is another question.

When Yhwach killed the Soul King, the ruler of everything in existance, Ichigo is caught in the resulting breakdown and gets transported back to the beginnings of the Gotei 13. Will Ichigo be able to find a way back home? Or is he staying and trying to stop Yhwach from killing the Soul King once more? Time travel, no pairings.

The war was over...and Aizen had won. But Urahara had one last trick up his sleeve. Now in the distant past of Ichigo's soul, he does what he can to change the future. There is a principle in chaos theory that states that even a minute change in initial conditions can have a profound effect on the events that follow. What if Ichigo Kurosaki had died along with his mother when the Grand Fisher attacked him? This is the beginning of one possible answer.
