He is trained to become a shaman by the trolls for several years. Learning that Voldemort is attempting to learn demonic magic, Thrall orders Harry's friends, a troll, orc, and tauren, to accompany him back to Earth. They were to help Harry defeat Voldemort so Voldemort wouldn't gain the attention of Burning Legion.
