My take on a modern day adaptation of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. Unit 8B at Barton Park was everything Marianne thought it would be: small, secure and near the university. Together with her sister, Elinor, they now go through the motions of change and heartbreak.

Lizzy Bennet was never so insulted in her life. Mr. Darcy was never more captivated. A Modern P&P dedicated to readers seeking a faithful portrayal of our beloved characters. Mostly canon-compliant, but completely re-imagined! A good story for Regency fans who don't normally like Modern AU. Rated T for language and mild sexual content (so far.)

For Elizabeth, the joy of her marriage and honeymoon are followed by the demands of becoming Mrs. Darcy, all while helping her shy new younger sister come out into society. Georgiana must deal with more suitors than she expected, when she fears nothing more than once again being persuaded to think she is in love with the wrong man.

One-shot. Miss Elizabeth, feeling desperate and reckless, cannot handle the indiscretion of the continuing proposals of Mr. Collins and scandalously compromises herself by kissing Mr. Darcy in Mr. Bingley's drawing room. OOC, AU, HEA

This was just a short little one-shot imagining the conversation between Thornton and Margaret after she went home with him on the northbound train, but it turned into a full fledged story. Mr Bennet intended to father a son, and the P&P story hinges on the fact that he did not. How might life have been different if Elizabeth Bennet DID have a brother? This tale is regency set, but my knowledge of the period comes from the glimpses Jane Austen has provided in her work. I have filled the gaps with my own imagination, so I cannot vouch for its historical accuracy!
