However, I promise that I will never leave a fic unfinished unless I get a substantial reaction along the lines of "SPARE US FROM THIS TORMENT!" =)

Although really, that could be construed more as a threat than a promise...

Note (March 15, 2008): I'm still working on "Gone Quantum", I promise. It's been easier to write about other storylines, though (as a glance at my list of work here will tell you), and the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last year gave me quite a bit to re-think about the original direction of "Gone Quantum". Still, as I was working with a knowledge of canon that only extended to OotP when I started this story several years ago, I suppose that even when I started posting it I knew that it would eventually be even more AU than it was back then.

I'm also still working on "Reflections of Amberle Elessedil", but as my current copy of The Elfstones of Shannara has gone missing, it may be another while before I manage an update there as well.
