Music is so important, especially to Kaneki. He's had to deal with a lot, being both a human and a ghoul, even with the recent strides in synthesized meat and equal representation. Of course, he's had to juggle being a well known rockstar while maintaining his normal, daytime persona. And Hide? He's just very in love and very confused.
