Even though the Avengers are now very close, all of them still had a few secrets. Everyone knew that fact and none of them mind the secrecy. But maybe they shouldn't have kept it in the dark for so long. Because that way, they wouldn't have to watch it being revealed to the team as they watch the battle of New York all over again. (In which the Avengers watch...well, the Avengers.)

Natalia Romanova didn't need anybody. Natasha Romanoff did. So when her team abandons her she feels empty and when shield collapses because of Hydra she feels useless. TRIGGER WARNING: CONTAINS SELF HARM AND SUICIDE

Nat's love for Wanda is poetic, which is ironic because words escape her. My first time writing any Marvel type of fanfic, be gentle with me.

Slight spoilers for Civil War. The Black Widow has a habit of returning men's memories with a blow to the head. It doesn't always work, but sometimes, it doesn't need to; after all, she's not exactly what James would call forgettable. Basically the product of, "You could at least recognize me," in CA3: CW combined with "cognitive recalibration" in The Avengers.

Learning Clint's at the tower visiting Tony and the gang, Natasha drops by as well and gets Pepper's help locating the group. Together, both women overhear a tasteless bit of "locker room talk" among Clint and the other guys and of course things get really awkward and tense.
