Heroes have matured and Ladybug is enjoying all shapes her lucky charm can take, but she can't keep it secret forever.

Marinette and Adrien were the perfect couple. They were together, they were happy. And then they weren't. After a devastating accident Marinette is given a choice, to live or to die. Now the two reflect on their failed relationship as Marinette clings to life in the hospital. Will she stay with her friends? Or will she go?

In one universe, after beating Lady Wi-fi, when Ladybug runs into the cupboard to transform with less than a minute to go, Chat Noir closes the door and runs away. This is not that universe.

"We're made out of bad luck, kitten," he says. "We are rot, and death, and destruction. I would be more surprised if you didn't have a problem."

Ladybug has something she needs to say to Chat Noir, and she can't hold it back any longer.
