Jane won't spend another family vacation with just family, thanks to Dr. Maura Isles. Newly un-jaded and with the aid of Maura, Jane rediscovers how strong her familial ties bind while finding herself and love held deep within, all during a weekend out.

Jane and Maura are relaxing at Maura's house when they are called to a case. Little do they know that this case is about to turn their world upside down.

My rewrite of the season 4 opener. I figured the best part of the TV show came from the books (Hoyt), so why not go grab another tidbit from the books to liven things up a bit? Maura is a noblewoman visiting the Caribbean during the golden age of piracy and has runs-ins with two famous pirates, one insane, dangerous and smelly, the other one with a smoky voice and lovely dark eyes... Rizzles smut and silliness, not to be taken seriously.
