Max and Aquamarine are great friends and both die-hard Steven Universe fans. They are both beyond hyped for the season 5 finale which is about to air, although Aquamarine can't be with Max at the time of airing. However, just as the show is about to start, a clumsy accident from a clumsy Max sends the two into the episode - where they can change the events in any way they see fit.
