![]() Author has written 4 stories for Big Bang Theory, Harry Potter, and Glee. My new account. My last one (Slytherclaw96) I'm not able to access anymore (which I've very pissed at because I've been writing there forever). Most likely, I'll also repost my old stories. My oneshots will stay on Slytherclaw96 but any chaptered stories will be reposted and continued from here later. Peace! I live in Canada, in probably the most awesome-named city in the world (after Mumbai), but my life's mostly in my head and imagination. I read most of the time, when I'm not writing or watching questionable sci-fi TV and movies on my laptop. I'm a proud Whovian, Red Pill, Sheldonian, nerdfighter, Gracer, Pistol, Potterhead, and bookworm. Oh, and I love Rise Against. *points to profile pic* Favourite Harry Potter pairings (in order): Marauder Era: Severus/Lily, James/Lily, Remus/Lily, Sirius/Lily, Regulus/Lily Trio Era: Draco/Hermione, Harry/Hermione, Ginny/Draco, Fred/Angelina, Draco/Daphne Next Gen: Rose/Scorpius Overall Top: Severus/Lily, Draco/Hermione, Remus/Lily Favourite Pairings From Other Fandoms: The Big Bang Theory: Sheldon/Penny, Howard/Penny Glee: Kurt/Brittany, Kurt/Karofsky, Kurt/Sam, Santana/Brittany, Sebastian/Santana, Blaine/Sebastian Doctor Who: Rose/10, Master/Doctor, Jack/OC What I Write I can write a lot of different things and am a very open writer, even though my style changes depending on whatever I'm reading at the time. I have a terrible time writing multi-chaptered stories, mostly because my updates get less and less frequent but I'll always finish them eventually. No matter what you people think, I don't forget; my guilt eats me alive. Oneshots and challenges are things that I'm addicted to, probably because I can write them in a day or in one sitting, then edit and post and forget about it. So, I might do loads of oneshots and challenges while I still have a long story on the go. Even though I write many, many different things from different times there are a few things I won't write or simply can't write. Parodies and crack!fics I neither read or write (even though I love A Very Potter Musical), but a good AU story is all right with me as long as it's moderately realistic and it's keeping with the spirit of the canon. AU that is over the top, though, I really hate, or extreme OOC-ness gets on my nerves, unless there's a good reason for it (once again, AVPM is immune to this rule on account of being awesome). Crossovers are, therefore, a bit of an issue. It would take something really special for me to cross Harry Potter with... say, Glee. (Plus, in my mind, crossing Harry Potter with anything is a sin against nature) Realisism, even in fanfiction, is the thing I pick at most and grit my teeth at. I know, I'm a little strange, but I am writing fanfiction. I love writing about the specific past, like the prequels you don't get, and getting to picture the characters before you knew them is one of the best things about fanfiction, I think. Weird romances and strange ideas are things that I think only need a good writer and the right style to make good, so that there aren't so many plot holes and leaks that you have to ask, "Hey, is this the Titanic?" Fandoms I write for: Harry Potter, The Big Bang Theory, Glee "Writing is not a job or activity. Nor do I sit at a desk waiting for inspiration to strike. Writing is like a different kind of existence. In my life, for some of the time, I am in an alternative world, which I enter through day-dreaming or imagination. That world seems as real to me as the more tangible one of relationship and work, cars and taxes. I don’t know that they’re much different to each other. However, I write about these alternative worlds because it helps preserve them. I’m their historian, their geographer, their sociologist, their storyteller. I write them into being. I have to say I don’t care whether this is a good thing to do or not; this is just the way I am and the way I live my life." -- John Marsden. “We've all been sorry, we've all been hurt. But how we survive is what makes us who we are.” -- Rise Against "Real revolution begins at learning. If you’re not angry, you’re not paying attention." -- Tim McIllrath "How do I write? One word at a time." -- Stephen King "When there's no more rules or categorizations, no more blacks and no more whites, when there's no more punks and dirt--that's when things will be okay, and not a day sooner." -- Sid Vicious "Sometimes the most positive thing you can be in society is absolutely negative." -- Johnny Rotten | |||||||
