![]() This is my prologue: My stories will collect the adventures of my dragonborn, a Nord named Viktor Ravenscar. There are many characters whose paths entwine with Viktor's throughout my stories, but he is my main character. At this point, Viktor has already helped the Stormcloaks achieve victory over the Imperial Legion. His friend Ulfric Stormcloak is Jarl of Windhelm, soon to be High King of Skyrim. Viktor has studied the way of the voice with the Greybeards, mastering the power of the thu'um and trained in weapons and hand-to-hand combat with the Blades. He is guildmaster of the Thieves' Guild, a Nightingale, and also helped the Dark Brotherhood to establish a new position in Skyrim's shadows. He met another Nord dragonborn, Draethius, while out adventuring. They were eventually married and Viktor worked with her to help her control her own thu'um. (Yes, two dragonborns at the same time. I may write that story later, may reveal it in flashbacks, we'll see how the stories unfold.) They live in Heljarchen Hall, with Whiterun, Dawnstar, and Windhelm being the towns they most frequently visit. Viktor and Draethius are good friends with the Companions, especially Farkas and Vilkas. In my stories, Vilkas is the leader of the Companions since Kodlak's passing. They make their money in the same way as the Companions, providing their services to anyone in need that has the coin. And this is where my stories begin... The first story, Winter's End, finds Viktor back in Windhelm at the request of Ulfric Stormcloak. The dragonborns are needed to protect Skyrim's people from a new threat that's emerged. After this, things have changed but there's no time to hang up the swords because Viktor has to find his way to Solstheim. The second story, Darkness Rising, follows the events of Winter's End. This is the story of Viktor's encounter with the Dawnguard. So this is me writing Skyrim stories. I think I have unique plots and storylines planned, but these are stories I would enjoy personally even if someone else wrote it. I just hope I can pull it off...
