![]() Author has written 5 stories for Ragnarok Online, Game X-overs, Worm, Negima! Magister Negi Magi/魔法先生ネギま!, Fate/stay night, and Darkest Dungeon. Aha, I have no idea what to put on profile. I guess I'll start with the pen name? It has nothing to do with actual priests, but more like a memory while playing Ragnarok Online. My very first char on RO, was a battle priest. Gamiya was the name and mained him for... 5 good years I think, until I lost interest playing RO. The guild I was in assigned me my pen name :P. But the thought of writing RO fics sort of interested me but it didn't take off until... well... 1 year after the RO roleplay that was on the unofficial mRO forums I took part of in was retired, since the DM said there were too many people gone. After having gotten what the supposed ending would be from the DM, it made me wonder what sort of life Gamiya would have after the RP. I didn't start that until I looked up some fanfics that were on ROEmpire forums, specifically haitianzero's Trinity story. It was then I started writing up Iroi Gamiya... from post-RP to his death, 5 fics in all. I dunno if I should bring them all here though. We'll see. So, up to his death, he married his assassin sweetheart and had twin girls and a boy. Girls - sage and rogue. Boy - knight. Right, this is my first account and my first fic here would be a crossover. Not in Midgard Anymore, Negima/RO:- As I was reading most of the Naruto/Negima crossover stories, I started wondering if somehow, instead of dying like I wrote previously, what if Gamiya somehow found himself sent somewhere else? Somewhere like Mahora? Right now, Gamiya will have his thread weaving in and out of the Negima storyline. OC Char for the story: Iroi Gamiya, High Priest, Battle version. He will have all acolyte, priest and high priest skills available. However, due to the absence of the special gemstones only available in RO, he can't use all of them. Namely, Warp Portal (except the beginning), Safety Wall, Resurrection, Sanctuary, and Basilica. I've also taken some liberties with his history, namely he was from swordsman class before switching over to acolyte class, thus having some lesser expertise in Bash and Magnum Break. Also, made his use of Teleport spell to be very accurate, accurate enough to use in a fight. In addition, seeing that he has Divine Protection and Demon Bane, there is a likely possibility he would also be sensitive enough to detect undead, demons and ghosts. He will not have a mace-class weapon until... I won't know when. Rounding this, He has a... metal right hand. Attached magically through RP with my DM. I will have it function as a pseudo-mace while Gamiya searches for a more appropriate weapon. All this probably seems overpowered. But, bear in mind that he is a stranger in a new land, with potential enemies all around, he would not have put his trust in anyone anytime soon, therefore he will hide his strengths from everyone until a much more suitable time, like when he has a small band of buddies he can trust. RP history in a nutshell? Brought up in a knight family. Having wished to change to acolyte. Father disowns him while supports him in secret. Works his way up to Priest class. embarks on quest for gemstone of essence (RP starts here). ending of quest sees his hand get ripped from him, literally. all that time, party gets decimated and members gets scattered or killed, leaving only a female assassin who is the daughter of the guild grandmaster. recovery period sees them getting closer. grandmaster makes assassin guild mistress. DM's alchemist makes metal hand for priest. demon summoning (DM making it hard for us) plunges world into chaos. gone to Morroc then to Alberta. girlfriend gets cursed and sealed into ice statue. priests goes to Juno and finds old member, a monk, is a king and fighting in civil war. helps friend win civil war. friend leads army to Prontera to distract demon army while priest sneaks in to kill leader. then runs back to Alberta to find out girlfriend is free of curse but with amnesia. Stories (stories are on RO Empire forums... kinda deserted now but forums are still up) kick in here. well, not much. mostly in the first story, since that is where he gets teaching experience. starts where RP left off. then dating, then marriage, then promotion to high priest, then teaching job, then... madness... madness meaning the antics of being warped over to the Negima setting. -Completed- Fate Level Zero, Fate Zero/Game Mega X-over Inspired by The Infamous Man. Whereas he used other anime/manga chars in place of servants(except Saber), I've went on the lines of chars from other games. I know something like this was done before, but I'll try to make this different. Excluding Saber, all other classes will be replaced by game characters. Finally able to pin down the class replacements. -Casualties of War- (in order of death) Caster Lancer Berserker Rider Saber 3rd July 2014(Note)- Just had an interesting thought. Chapter 15, when Caster died. At the point when he dismissed his helmet, Archer's eight swords were spinning around her, presumably at a moderate pace. Caster saw the eight-pointed star just before he died. Does that mean something else will happen down the line? Maybe. We'll see... -Completed- Sequel Fate/New Game Plus, Fate Stay Night/Game Mega X-over -Casualties of War- (in order of death) Avenger Berserker Rider Caster Lancer Archer Assassin -Completed- 13th December 2015(Note)- Reuploaded the chapter. I think I messed up the previous upload because the view counter was stuck at zero even though the reviews still came in. 20th December 2015(Note)- Looks like the views error is fixed. Still have no idea what happened, but at least now its fixed. Outsider, Darkest Dungeon(DD)/Worm crossover Time to jump into something new. A lone survivor in a failed run escapes a dark trap into a new universe unlike his own. Forever tortured by his existence, he must cope with his new surroundings or drown in madness. There is clarity in madness... but only rarely... A Star Spawned Horror - referring to the Shambler that brought the party into the endless night. Scrounger - a series of Quirks your hero can gain in DD. A benefit that helps you discover or find more things, both good and bad. Abomination finds a whole new world. Future villain finds something troublesome. Affliction - part of the DD stress mechanic. Opposite of Virtue. A chance to gain either one at 100 stress. However, as RNG would have it, we see more Afflictions than Virtues. Capes are also Afflicted with powers at the moment of highest stress. Explore - DD mission/expedition type where you have to explore 90% of the map. Abomination - Osmond's class in DD. One of the playable non-DLC Character Classes with two forms. Human form(Ranged) and the Beast form(Melee). Firewood - Used to trigger a Campfire. A momentary respite during medium and long dungeons. A period of rest. An interlude, if you will. Black as Pitch - The lowest level on the Light Meter. The Light Meter is a fluctuating scale of the current light level during the exploration of dungeons. The lower the level of light, the more rewards you get, but also increases the danger the enemies pose to your party. Laying Low - One of the thematic Town Events that randomly happen in the Hamlet. Comes with the saying The shadows hide the guilty and guilt-ridden alike... Despondence - Meaning discouraged, very sad, and without hope. Taken from a quote that the Narrator says when you reach 50% of either health of stress:- "Injury and despondence set the stage for heroism... or cowardice." Darkest - The name of the final dungeon in DD. Before I forget. my pen name here is different from forum name. my name is horong. No relation with the other writer on this website. |
