Hey! The name's Aubrey, in case you haven't figured that out yet!

It took me a while to find something that I was passionate about, something I could escape reality while doing. I loved reading because of that reason, and I got my hands on as many books as I could. Unfortunately, I'm afraid 'professional reader' is not exactly a job title. But eventually, after years of searching, I found it was writing. I've always loved acting, not necessarily acting myself, because it allowed me to be someone else, to be in control of someone else who isn't me and make them come to life. There were a couple problems with that though. Number one: I wanted to be in charge of who the character was. And number two: I couldn't be as creative as I wanted to be with acting. So, I discovered this wonderful little site called FanFiction, and after a year or two of only reading and reviewing others' stories, I decided to give it a try myself. It's the best thing I've done, by far! Writing allows me to convey my feelings and emotions into my writing and characters, creating who I want and what I want, and I love seeing characters come to life! It puts my imagination and love for creativity to good use, and once I get going, I space into what seems like a hypnotic state and can't stop! I guess my point is that the reason I'm here is not to impress other people, but to write purely for me, myself, and I. Of course, I'm happt that other people recognize my writing, but even if they didn't, I would still be satisfied with only writing for myself.
