Hello there, and welcome to my FanFiction account! My name is Tasha, but most people just call me Tash. Anyone who finds this probably knows me personally (my work doesn’t get around much), so I don’t know what I should put up here that you guys wouldn’t already know…

No point in posting anything about my general location – it changes by the second almost. You might know me from Minnesota, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, or may have met me only in passing in Oklahoma.

I am a junior in high school.

Falkor (from The Neverending Story) will forever own my soul.

I aspire to be a genetic chemist, but my mom believes very strongly that I should be a novelist in my spare time, and I am compelled to oblige her as I would love to do so as well.

I have six cats: China, Dash, She Shá, Pepper, Faith, and Little Miss Ginger Rose. I plan on getting two Newfoundlands (a gray one named Cumulonimbus and a black one named Sirius), an Irish Setter (which I will name Remus), a Russian Blue (to be named Sliver – like a sliver of wood stuck in your palm, not Silver like the shiny gray metal), and a completely blue Norwegian Forest Cat (named Twilight).

I have two big sisters (Anna and Pennie) and one younger (Nick). I write with my eldest sister, Anna, quite often. Most anything Torchwood I post will have been co-written with her, though not all of it.

Anything I write is going to be slash. I can’t help it, nothing else is fun to write! I’ve tried writing heterosexual couples, and it just never works out, so I stick to what I do best.

I have some odd little writing quarks I should disclose first:
~ I have a tendency to use the female ‘brunette’ for male characters.
~ Same with blonde.
~ I’m American, but typically use British spelling (typically – not for everything, but typically).
~ In going with that last one, I write my dates day, month, then year.
~ I use military time, or when I am writing the time use a period instead of a colon (i.e 10.30 instead of 10:30).
~ I am a hyphen fiend! They are my best friends – to an annoying extent.
~ Again, ditto with ellipsis.
I have found that some of my writing habits annoy people, so this is fair warning – if something about my writing style may annoy you to an extent that you won’t be able to enjoy my work, please don’t read it!

Some things that annoy me greatly:

~ People who think that if you are Christian you must hate homosexuals.
~ That seam at the toes of socks.
~ The incessant tapping that the loose glass of the sunroof of the new Neon makes.
~ When I pull out my Lego shaped thumb drive and people feel the need to exclaim that it is, in point of fact, not really a Lego.
~ Gray or red lint on my cream coloured pants. Almost any other coloured lint is fine, but there’s something about gray or red…
~ People insisting I eat banana nut muffins. It happens more often then you’d think.
~ When people attempt to speak or translate Latin and get the whole sentence completely wrong.
~ People who think I am crazy when I talk to my original characters like they are real people – to me they are, so lay off.
~ The Quaker Oatmeal guy. (His smile gives me the effing creeps!!)
~ When people use the word ‘effing’. –glances above- Well, I do tend to annoy myself, so that would fit...
~ Hypocrites – even though we all are one.
~ People who insist upon crunching on Wint-O-Green Life Savers.
~ When the bottoms of Sno-Caps melt together and get all waxy.
~ When the bristles of my hairbrush bend.
