Hello, This is Astronaut123 and thank you for actually reading my profile. Just want to let you know that I'm kind of new to actually writing Fanfic's. I've been reading them for a few years, and thought it would be fun to contribute. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, but bear in mind that flames will be put in my fireplace where they belong. Let it also be known that I will not write M rated fic's, yaoi, or yuri. Please respect my views and don't suggest it. Other than that have fun reading! I eagerly await reviews, Thanks! GOD IS LOVE If you believe in Jesus Christ put this in your profile and don't just ignore this, because in the Bible it says, ‘If you deny me, I will deny you in front of my Father in the gates of Heaven This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it? Repost this if you truly believe in God. The last two sections are things that I reposted, but here's an experience of my own. In the summer between my Junior and Senior years of high school, I went on a mission trip to Honduras with my mom, sister and a bunch of people from my church. We were there to start building a water treatment system for a small secluded village. For part of this we needed to take a large amount of gravel to the work site which was at the top of a small mountain. For this we were using a tractor to move it, but the only road was small and dirt and it had been raining the night before. This caused the tractor carrying the gravel to get stuck deep in the mud, and we could not get it out, it was going to take at least a few hours to dig it out. When news reached the work site, everyone decided to stop working, hold hands and pray about it together. It didn't matter that the Americans and Hondurans spoke different languages. After finishing, we accepted the fact that we were going to have to bring the gravel up by hand without any fuss, and started to carry buckets to where the tractor was stuck. However, just as we started walking, there came the tractor driving up the road. That is what I consider a miracle. Just goes to show, that if you put your faith in God and work hard, he will make everything work out. 98 percent of teenagers do or has tried smoking pot. If you're one of the 2 percent who hasn't, copy & paste this in your profile. Now I sit me down in school If you aren't ashamed to do this, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father." Some of My Favorite Sayings Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs Become Lions. Fate rarely calls on upon us at a moment of our choosing. Problem Solving - there are few of life's problems that cannot be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile. For a hero cannot triumph all the time. Sometimes he will be defeated, and how he faces that defeat is a test of his character. |
