5 Sentences About Me: I am currently a college student in the US set to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology this June, and then I'm off to graduate school for a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I want to counsel active military members, specifically those with post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injuries, but I also aspire to teach later in life. I will be celebrating my 21st birthday in less than a month. I volunteer oodles; right now I'm interning at a community center for the developmentally disabled, and I love it so much. I really enjoy crafting, especially making things out of duct tape, using oil pastels, scrapbooking, and poster making.

Likes (in stories): witty dialogue, humor, UST, teasing, flirting, confident male protagonists, mildly (or more) introspective female protagonists, old fashioned or disused words, users and lovers of the semicolon, stories with a narrator who has a well-developed character and sense of voice.

Dislikes (in stories): main characters who have little or no awareness of their own emotions and the potential causation of such emotions (plot ex. Mary Sue just realized that she was totally crushing on John Doe! Now everything makes sense! How could she have not seen this coming??), stories with poor grammar, spelling, and/or conventions; stories that have plots that have too many twists or do not have enough buildup to make the plot twists seem plausible (ex. Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer), smut that is too clinical, too graphic, or uses the same cliches and euphemisms that 40 other authors have used and they themselves use over and over again.

Random Stuff: I generally like canon pairings; there are some exceptions, but if the plot seems interesting, I'll read about anything. I haven't found a slash story that I like yet, so I rarely read it. I have a billion ideas and inspirations and plot bunnies that have yet to actually be written. The three reasons for this are: I have no time (I'm one of those people who go to college to learn); I only want to post something almost perfect (which leads right into...); I fear that my writing will be so utterly horrendous that I will be ridiculed, ostracized, shunned, and exiled from creative writing henceforth.
