Gamer. For Youtube videos, I enjoy music, gaming channels, and listening to true horror stories. Someone with a storm of ideas in their head but doesn't get to write them all/finish them. If I manage to write 1,000 words a day (when I actually write), I usually consider that a good day. At the same time, the truth on why their school was shot up slowly comes to light. (Currently writing arc 2 out of 3) Second Chances: A summer camping trip ends in disaster. Four years later, a boy reluctantly returns to the camp, and tries to make sure that another disaster doesn't happen. (Completed) Anywhere But Here: One Teenager finds himself on a journey to a fabled promise land as he begrudgingly escorts a couple of girls across zombie infested America. Along the way, he finds himself questioning if he should follow in the footsteps of his friends and banish his humanity, or re-embrace them. (Arc 1 of 4 completed) Someone Else's Guardian: Ex-Airborne army solider finds himself back in civilian life, taking care of his teenage daughter. Because of the distance put between them because of his career, he finds the home-front a different kind of war than the one he's used to. (Yet to start) Shadow: A twelve year old finds himself being stalked by a skinwalker. (Completed.) If I Fall: A despondent ex-soldier forms an odd friendship with a suicidal girl as they deal with their past demons. (Needs editing.) When The Stars Collide: A teenager finds himself unwillingly jumping through alternate realities. After jumping through a certain number of realities he loses his memories of them. Not knowing who he really is, where he was from, and finding no purpose in his life as he lives the lives of his alternate selves, he tries to find meaning in a seemingly meaningless existence. (Yet to start.) Reopening Scars: He just wanted to have a house party with his crush and some friends. Somehow, everything spirals out of control as the demons of his past, as well as those of his friends, come to light, and threaten to tear everything apart. (Chapter 1 completed.) Write while drunk, edit while sober. Update as of January 7, 2018, 5:25PM Local Time Shades of Normality will be on hiatus. It will be on hiatus for a while. When the next chapter will come out I don't know. Currently, I'm working on two original novels that are slowly being written. I mean, I'm doing what makes me happy, so... I don't know. I'm just doing it. Update as of March 1, 7:20PM Local Time I have been feeling mentally tired a lot. It's been hard to concentrate and to do mental tasks for very long. That's one of the reasons I haven't been reading, or writing, as much as I'd like. They say it might have been because of the winter. I hope that's true, I've been been in a down mood for a while, and I'm hoping that it's time for an up mood in the near future. Update as of April 4, 4:50PM Local Time Feeling drained. Don't know if I'll be able to work on Shades of Normality any time soon. Working on original stories. Update as of November 18, 8:30PM Local Time Things happened. I lost motivation. Just recovered. Fics on indefinite Hiatus. Working on original story. Update as of February 12, 2019, 3:29PM Local Time Been working on original stories as well as dealing with my mental health issues and life through sobriety. Right now, I can't find myself working on Shades of Normality, dealing with twenty four teenagers mental illnesses when I'm dealing with my own. Working on another HG story instead for now. Update as of June 23, 9:40PM Local Time Guess I lied about working on a new HG fic... Haven't been working on a lot of things as well. My inattentive ADHD has faded, and though I still retain symptoms that I believe will never go away, I miss the symptoms that have left me. I don't know if it's because of the drug addition or because I've aged out of those symptoms, but it makes writing a little bit harder. Finding time and motivation has also been a factor. But still, I've been working on one of my original novels, and have completed the first draft of it. All it needs is editing. Though I haven't written anything in months and the skill fade is strong. There's also the fact that I'm going on an overseas tour for the army, so don't expect anything until the year 2020. List of (Top priority) fics to read (Though I will probably procrastinate on them): When Instinct Falls (Zootopia) The Last Lullabies: The Fourth Quarter Quell (Hunger Games) The 78th Hunger Games: The Absolved (Hunger Games) Why I decided to delete some of my stories: Gone Therapy (Gone): An old thing that I never finished that was just meant to be something short and funny. May or may not have succeed, but a few people liked it. Reason I deleted it is because it's an old piece of work that will never be updated and was more of a script looking thing than anything else. Infamous Games (Hunger Games): Another old thing that I started for fun, but will never finish as I just gave up on it. It originally came to me when I began university and began to look at the first canon book a little differently and began to create my own head canon for infamous events within that universe. Family Ties (Left 4 Dead): Just a short story about how families get torn apart in an infected filled world. It wasn't popular, and seeing it made me not proud of it, so it's gone. The Damned (Left 4 Dead): Originally supposed to be a re-make of my first real fanfic, Choices. I originally made it to show just how vulnerable teenagers could be in a zombie apocalypse and showing how far people would go to survive while also showing how messed up their friendship would become. It was a good start, but after the third chapter I hit a block, and that wasn't even counting that my computer wouldn't allow me to continue working on it, so in the end, I just gave up. Nightmare Awakening (Gone): A short torture like fic that I did on a whim because I could and to see what I could do. It served no purpose other than that. The adults were GONE Then HUNGER took power LIES traveled around The PLAGUE caught on Then the FEAR settled in But soon the LIGHT will shine Tributes for Disaster Dominoes SYOT Shades of Normality Chapter 50 progress: 0.1% Shades of Normality Tributes: ht tp:// shades of normality . blogspot . ca/ Completed Arcs: Part One: Ripped Apart (Chapters 1-5) Part Two: Surviving The Capitol (Chapters 6-20) Part Three: K.F.A.P (Chapters 21-31) Part Four: Jungle Law (Chapters 32-Present) Future Arcs (Subject to Change): Part Five: Loss Of Control Part Six: The Mental Factor Part Seven: Shades Of Normality Consequences Of Survival Completed Arcs: Part One: Welcome To The City (Chapters 1-5) Part Two: Learning the Ropes (Chapters 6 - Present) "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity.
