All right guys this probably the last time I'm coming on here.

I love reading and I LOVE writing, but it's become a bit of an obsession as of...well a LONG time. It's keeping me from my life and after many months of debating I've decided that I'm going to stop reading and writing fanfiction. I'm starting with just a year but I don't think I'll come back.

I'm leaving my page up so that people can read how I came to this decision. I'm christian and I went to a youth event over the weekend. It's called Acquire the Fire. I've been 3 times and every year it changes my life. But the magic of it seems to fade as the months go on. I realized this year that the presence of god ("magic") I feel only fades because I let the things of this world get in the way.

In the bible it says "Deny yourself, and take up the cross and follow me." Is that too much to ask?

Jesus died for us. He have his LIFE so that we could live ours, free of sin. And how do we repay him? By worshping the things of the Earth, not the one who have us these things. I'm done. I'm taking up my cross.

6 hours. That's how long Jesus stayed on the cross. With only nails droven into his arms, hands and feet holding him up. He was humiliated. Beaten, stripped naked and hung up for all to see.

He had the power to get off of that cross, to take revenge on all of the people that hurt him, that tortured and humiliated him. But he didn't. You know what one of the only things he said during that aweful time on that cross was? "Father, please forgive them." Not 'You will get it' or 'why me?' but "Please forgive them".

To me that is worth giving up a little bit of MY pleasure for.

So I'm leaving you with just a few verses that hit my heart.

Romans 8:19 "For the earnest expectation of all creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of god"

John 3:16 "For god so loved the world so that he gave his only begotten son so that whoever believed in him should not parish but have everlasting life."

Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Crist, who gives me strength.

Neh. 8:10 The jof of the lord is your strength

Proverbs 3:5 and 6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart...In all your ways acknoledge hi8m, and he will make your path straigth.

Matthew 19:26 With god all things are possible.

James 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
