After Malefor's defeat, Spyro and Cynder still played a major part in the greatest story to be told in all the dragon realms, now together with new friends. But that's not the only story worth telling in the dragon realms. Flame and Ember's training is almost completed, and a Guardian shall rise soon. But Night's mirror is about to be uncovered, and the Guardians needs Spyro, Cynder and their friends to keep the biggest threat from entering their world.

Right after saving the world from utter destruction, Spyro and Cynder find themselves in Avalar, where they have their first peaceful moment. But when new dragons step in, and a new treat rises, Spyro and Cynder relationship will be put to proof.
