What if Hans had not done the heel-turn in the movie? My take on a darker alternative ending of the movie without anyone getting dark. Definitely a path Disney wouldn't take.

Elsa was a normal, if not a quiet child, no magic, no ice or siblings. Unknown to her Anna, is hidden away in the castle, in a frozen room struggling to control her powers over ice and snow knowing she cannot, harm Elsa the heir of Arendelle again. Only when their parents die does the truth come out and Elsa rejoice in having a new sibling whilst Anna fears losing her sister again.

Two sisters were separated by the hands of fate at a young age. Now more than a decade has passed, and it will take a lot to drive them back together, especially when one cannot even remember that the other exists.

Elsa is still a bit unsure of herself in her new role as queen. After thirteen years of isolation, she has never had a chance to get to know her subjects. With Anna off visiting Kristoff's family, Elsa decides to take a walk in a more inconspicuous pair of shoes.
