I do try my best at them, even the ones that are purely for comedy...I do self-inserts, I have no problem with other people's self-inserts as well...so long as they are well written...seriously. As for my non self-insert fanfictions, I mostly do stuff with OCs, and I try my best to avoid mary-sueism, some people like my OCs others hate them...personally I don't care if you like them or not, so long as I like them. Some people think my characters are mary-sues, others don't so really I can't tell you much about them...you can read my fanfictions and deduct a conclusion from that, :) Happy Reading!
