Hello! My name is Edward Herrmann, otherwise known as the Plasma Alchemist by the Amestris Military, and hold a rank of Lieutenant General, bestowed to me by Fuhrer Bradley shortly before the entire Promised Day business began. I am a possesser of two traits which qualified me to be a State Alchemist: The ability to manipulate plasma in the blood to use as weapons, and the ability to recall many a story about the past, some that are not even widely known by the Historical Records Dept. in Central.

I have served as a State Alchemist for 10 years, I lead the reserve State Alchemists. At my age, I can't completely keep up on the frontline like I used to when Amestris was first formed, but I help out any way I can.
