Author has written 1 story for Bible.

A little bit about myself. I started life as a stubborn embryo, not willing to follow the doctor's guidelines as to growth and entrance into what is generally coined 'the world'. I then grew into a complacent baby, but I decided complacency wasn't for me and quickly tossed it aside, developing into a stubborn toddler, child, teenager, adult. And the beat goes on.

I'm a college kid, which means I think I know everything, until I discover I don't know anything, which means I know more than anyone else, as Socrates would tell you which makes me think I know everything... I'll stop there. I'm an English lit/writing major with a theology minor, but that may very well change because I'm what is known as indecisive.

I am what you might call a skeptical romantic. In essence, this results directly from the following: most of the romance I've observed is one or all of these things: cliched, sappy, uninsightful, entirely-physically based, impractical, selfish, and in all other way the precise opposite of anything actual romance ought to be. That said, it ought to be obvious why I despise slash fics, incest fics, and all other manner of uncanon, cliched, uninsightful, or otherwise eyeroll provoking fics. THAT said, if you've written a romance that actually speaks of thought, insight, and an idea of what romance truly is, you are on a short, and praiseworthy list. And that counts for something, I'm sure.

That sounded rather like a lecture. We'll brighten the mood with some butterflies. 8l8 8l8

Is that enough? I hope so, because if I gush too much, the results will be less than pleasing. (Sim gush is highly disturbing).

I read (and attempt to write) Narnia fics mostly. I think Peter magnificent (note the lack of 'Mosely' used in that title. Sorry Will. You got credit in the credits), Susan gentle (despite the considerable amount of fic --and -cough- movie-- portrayals of her as 'liberal' with the arrows), Edmund just (what? Edmund stopped being whiny? I know. And yet, there it is) and Lucy valiant (I have yet to stumble across much OC Lu, but I'm sure its simply a matter of time.) In the same vein, I think Lewis (as well as all the other authors and writers attributed to on this site) worthy of respect, if merely because we all consider him a good enough writer to want to write in his world. (there are lots of other reasons to respect him, but that one ought to be universal to Lewis fanfic-ers.) If you're going to write his characters OC, then give them different names, and call the world a different world, and tada, you have an orig fic. Not a deplorable accomplishment. Otherwise, I think his characters and his world should be written the way he created them. I know, phenomenal idea, but there it is.

That sounded a LOT like a lecture. Here's musical interlude:

Hm, what else? I like pina coladas (though I prefer chocolate milkshakes) and walks in the rain (but fog or snow are better, when there are lamp-posts.)

Mostly, though, I just like to write. And I like to read what people who have honestly thought produce. God blessed us with brains with for a good reason. I just gotta figure out what that was.

And now for something completely different. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sl23O5N9FFI Enjoy. :)
