![]() Author has written 3 stories for Seventh Tower, Charlie Bone, and X-overs. I'm really no good at profiles. So I guess I could start with the basics: Hometown: New Haven, Connecticut Places visited: Montana; Nashville, Tennessee; Las Vegas, Nevada (three times) ; Washington D.C.; London, England; Moscow, Russia Eye color: green Hair color: brown And I could list another 100,000 boring and simple attributes about dull old me. But I guess if you're reading this, you at least want to know me. I am most honored if there are such people out there 'cause there's hardly anything special about me. The only real interesting thing about me is that I've been to Vegas three times. That sounds unbelievable but it's true. I have at least ten stories that I work on every so often. What's so frustrating is that every time I start working on a story I end up stuck at one point and not able to move forward. My real name is Trent Markman and I am 16 years old. My favorite subject is English even though band is also a great class. I play the snare drum, saxophone, and flute. My best instrument is the snare. Writing is a joy for me. Unlike most of my friends, I relish writing stories for English. The only things that are difficult for me are expository writing (those fancy essays!) and writing about myself. My favorite book series: Harry Potter, Pendragon, Children of the Red King, Seventh Tower, Kingdom of the Keys, Twilight, and the Three Musketeers. Picture: That's Anne Frank, a brave Jewish girl who stayed in hiding during WWII. She wanted to be a writer but she died at age 15. For that I salute her and other brave Jews. She represents bravery without the military honor. Today, she is my hero. One curious fact: I am fascinated by left-handedness. Most of the characters I write about in my original fiction tend to be left-handed. |
