![]() Author has written 1 story for Pokémon. Hello! I am your Neighborhood Masterman, or Masterman for short. I'm an avid Pokemon lover, ever since I was three. You can guess that because of Pokemon, I'm in this site, right? Yep. My favorite series overall is Pokemon (of course), and singers/bands are Linkin Park, Billy Talent, Kanye West, Rihanna, and recently B.o.B. My number one sport to play is basketball; my favorite sport to watch is hockey. Vancouver Canucks all the way! Just pointing that out. Reading is one of my favorite pastimes, where eventually lead me to discover several fan fictions for Pokemon, including the first one I've ever read, May's Crush, by PikaMasterADV. His writing has inspired me to write my own, which I intend to start sometime soon, around late spring. Like most aspiring authors, I still have a lot to learn, but hopefully during my time here, I will have learned a lot. Some of my favorite fanfiction stories are May's Crush by PikaMasterADV, May's Crush 2: Final Frontier by PikaMasterADV, Final Challenge by Matkin22, Two of a Kind by CyberCubed, After Hoenn: The Journey of Faith by PowerShot, and Through Time and Space by spacegal 19. If you're a fan of advanceshipping and/or pearlshipping, I recommend you read those. A goal of mine is to write stories that can equal to those. Gender: Male Name: I am not proud of my name at all, curse my parents for naming me... You were actually thinking I would give you my name? No thanks. Occupation: Student for now. When I play basketball, I'm the complete Kobe Bryant stereotype. Just kidding. Writing Style: I'm the guy that likes to write long romance/adventure/humorous stories. Reason for this is that one shots and short fics aren't exactly my thing, cramming lots of detail and such. Also, I make lots of errors because I always mistake 'in' for 'on', 'at' for 'on'/'in', and vice versa. It always happens! :O You know when you live in 2006 when... 1.) You accidentally enter your password on a microwave. 2.) You haven't played solitaire with real cards for years 3.) The reason for not staying in touch with your friends is they don't have a screenname or Myspace 4.) You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the buttons on the TV 6.) Your boss doesn't even have the ability to do your job. 7.) As you read this list you keep nodding and smiling. 8.) As you read this list you think about sending it to all your friends... 9.) ...and you were too busy to notice number 5. 10.) You scrolled back up to see if there was a number 5. Now you are laughing at yourself stupidly. Put this in your profile if you fell for that, and you know you did. At age 8, your dad buys you an ice cream. You thanked him by dripping When you were 9 years old, he paid for piano lessons. You thanked him When you were 10 years old he drove you all day, from soccer to When you were 11 years old, he took you and your friends to When you were 12 years old, he warned you not to watch When you were 13, he suggested a haircut that was in fashion. When you were 14, he paid for a month away at summer camp. When you were 15, he came home from work, looking for a hug. When you were 16, he taught you how to drive his car. You When you were 17, he was expecting an important call. You thanked him When you were 18, he cried at your high school graduation. You thanked When you were 19, he paid for your college tuition, drove you to campus When you were 25, he helped to pay for your wedding, and he told you When you were 50, he fell ill and needed you to take care of him. You And then, one day, he quietly died. And everything you never did came If you know there's more to good random humor than saying "cheese", "cookie", or "pie", copy and paste this into your profile. There's always lemons. Favorite Pokemon: 5. Pikachu 4. Swampert 3. Weezing 2. Azumarill 1. Meowth! As those are my favorite Pokemon, you'll tend to find my OC's have some of these Pokemon. I'll try my best not to use them though, and attempt to appreciate the other 488 Pokemon that co-exist. Pairings I Support: Advanceshipping (Ash x May) The first pairing I ever supported, the original reason on how I found the online Pokemon community. Ever since 2005, I'm still an avid supporter for this pairing. As a result, being an advanceshipper tends to make me dislike contestshipping (May x Drew) in all aspects of the pairing. Pearlshipping (Ash x Dawn) After finding out that May was going to Johto with Harley and... Drew, my hopes for advanceshipping becoming canon died a little. There, I found Dawn and pearlshipping and started to support it. The similarities between them are cute as well as the hints. As of right now, I'm supporting both shippings, with Pearl slightly ahead of Advance. Rocketshipping (James x Jessie) One, they're like in their twenties. Two, they've been together trying to capture Pikachu since the second episode. Three, together, they fit perfectly in my opinion. After ten years, WHY AREN'T THEY A COUPLE? (Is confuzzled) Harry x Hermione (Harry Potter) Uh... hehe, yeah. Since the series came out, I always thought that Harry would be together with Hermione. Mainly in book three, where Ron wasn't able to come with the two when they traveled in time to save Sirius. Even though Harry married Ginny, I'm still an avid HarryxHermione shipper at heart. Other then that, I pretty much all right with other pairings in Pokemon. On other series, I don't really focus on the pairings for some apparent reasons. Pairings I Dislike: Contestshipping (May x Drew) It's a natural thing most advanceshippers have; not liking contestshipping a single bit at all. I'm not really into his character, giving roses to May like that, a bit cliche. Also, I'm not interested in cool boy and cute girl pairings. We advanceshippers tend to give Drew a rough time in stories, so I will give him some sympathy. Ikarishipping (Dawn x Paul) I don't see them dating in any way possible. Just saying. I don't have anything against Yaoi/Yuri shippings, but I just find it hard to be interested in the stories and the shipping in general. Current Story Ideas: (Pokemon) Not named yet: The Sinnoh Conference is over, with Ash getting 4th in the competition. After a few days being back at Pallet Town, he discovers about the new Battle Frontier that has recently opened in Johto. When he arrives at New Bark Town, he meets an old friend that joins him along his journey... Advanceshipping, rated PG- 13 for mild language and some themes. Crappy summary I know, but I will edit it when I get the plot figured out. (Pokemon) Parts of a Whole: When Andrew was forced to start off with a Bidoof, he thought his journey would be a disappointment. That changed when he becomes friends with a Pokemon Coordinator and a former gym leader that travels with him along his journey, who help him find his own identity. Follow Andrew and friends through their Sinnoh journey! Rated for mild language and crude humor. Working on chapter 2.
