An unexpected twist of fate brings Mr. Darcy to a place he never imagined himself patronizing and where he once again crosses paths with Miss Elizabeth Bennet. She too had been brought here by an unforeseen and cruel twist of fate. Now they must strive to overcome the pain and taint of ruin to find happiness and a future in an unforgiving society who thrives on scandal.

This is the third and final installment of my P&P series. You will follow our dear couples as well as meet some new ones. If you enjoyed the other two, I hope you stick with me through this one as well.

Taking place immediately after Darcy's proposal. Darcy and Elizabeth are faced with a sudden flash flood. (Setting is from the 2005 P&P first proposal scene, "Temple of Apollo," at Stourhead. Fitzwilliam Darcy is delayed until November for his 1812 trip to Rosings, so he has not seen or heard any news of the inhabitants of Hertfordshire for a year. He encounters something at Rosings that leaves him badly shaken, and starts him to a journey he could not have imagined.

A P & P variation where we wonder what might have happened if Elizabeth had not overheard Mr. Darcy's caustic remarks at the assembly. Would she still have seen him as arrogant, conceited and having a selfish disdain for the feelings of others? Would her lack of initial disgust change the way he behaved in Hertfordshire? I hope my attempt to answer these questions entertains.

Darcy and Elizabeth first meet and form a friendship months after Jane marries Bingley. The words of a friend can cut deeper than those of an enemy...can their friendship survive or will it turn into something more?

Elizabeth Bennet has an unexpected and extreme reaction to yet another insulting proposal in Hunsford. It's a nonstop madcap romp through Regency fandom. It started out mostly romantic but accidentally humorous and now has gone kind of over the top with romance, humor and outright farce.

After the death of Mr Bennet, Elizabeth take drastic action to secure a roof over her family's heads. M for Lemons. Lizzy/Darcy HEA, ColF HEA, but Jane/Bingley is not a HEA. Some humour in places - This story is now complete, but I will be doing a spin off of Jane/her intended, at some point.

An alternate tale of a classic love story had the protagonists' characters and circumstances been a little different.

The winter of 1811 was perilously and unexpectedly cold. The roads became impassable and neighbors leaned on each other to bear the barren winter. The Winter of 1811 found Netherfield Park occupied for Christmas. Holiday fic 2012.

Elizabeth Bennet marries an Earl 2 years before Bingley lets Netherfield. While in London for the winter, Darcy makes her acquaintance, & discovers that her marriage is not a happy one, causing him to form and offer her a desperate resolution. Beta'd 16/10/15

Darcy reluctantly becomes engaged to Caroline prior to joining Charles at Netherfield. Can he face a lifetime in a loveless marriage when he finally meets the woman of his dreams?

After Ramsgate, Darcy is convinced that he has failed his sister, & he grants Lady Catherine's favourite wish, in hope that it will help both Anne & Georgiana. After they learn a mortal truth, they go with Bingley to Netherfield, & he meets Elizabeth.

Mr Bennet happens to catch sight of Darcy when he visits the Gardiner's with the news concerning Wickham and Lydia. This chance encounter allows him to reach an understanding with his future son in law.

A sequel to Till You or Jane Return, covers the events around Georgiana Darcy's first Season. Crossover with Persuasion.

Jane accompanies Elizabeth and the Gardiners on their travels to Derbyshire. Meanwhile Bingley's siblings go to Bath, causing many things to occur at Pemberley.

Not being able to breath the air at Longbourn after Mr. Collins' longwinded and insincere proposal, Elizabeth heads for the woods where she runs into an injured Mr. Darcy.
