Hello World. This is the Antarctic Sphinx speaking. Or maybe just Sphinx, seeing as that is quite a mouthful. Or Sphinxy.

On second thought, maybe not Sphinxy.

But anyway. I have come from a galaxy far, far away (read: also known as the same galaxy that you live in) to hone my writing skills. I do not profess to be amazing, but when I do inevitably disappoint, please do me the favour of at least hurling nice, ripe fruit instead of the usual rotten variety ;). Heheh, anyway, I'm currently a university student majoring in English and Linguistics, or at least attempting to. I'm addicted to reading and writing, and will read/ write just about anything, though Sphinxy does have a soft spot for Fantasy. Sphinxy also has a soft spot for anime. Just like Sphinxy also has a soft spot for refering to himself in the third person, for some reason.

Oh yes, I am also male. Because the name 'Sphinxy' just evokes raw masculinity at it's core, yes?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting involved in the community, and can't wait to have some of you guys brutally rip in to my work. It'll be AWESOME. =D
