'Cincinnatus' is just a word that popped up in my head one day, doesn’t really have a special meaning. I didn’t even know Cincinnati was a place. I just figured it was a plain enough user name.

Sometimes I wish people would stop trying to be special and differentiate themselves and just be. Like, my friends were musing on a group chat about all the things they could do in their spare time including killing and reanimating a man and later, one of them texted "Heteronormative bullshit" and I am so sick of them pretending so desperately to be what and who they most emphatically are not. Is it really that awful to just be another face in the crowd? Do they really have to fake being unique and murderous in order to feel validated? It's okay to be straight. It's okay to be plain and ordinary. On my better days, I relish in being no one special. It's certainly better than hiding behind masks of serial killers and special little snowflakes.

A few things to know about me, I dislike loud voices. I don't like bright lights. They make me sleepy, especially in a car. I have a habit of annoying people, which I began as a hobby. It's now permanently engraved in my personality. I pick out faults, in everything. Sometimes I don't realise I'm doing it. I like laughing! It's one of the things I enjoy most. My mind likes to find all the different ways it can imagine my imminent death.

If I were a millionaire, I'd have no idea what to do with the money. I'm rather indecisive. I like plushies! I am so introverted I'm almost an extrovert. Needles are terrifying. Do your best not to watch as people inject a strain of disease into or withdraw a worrying amount of blood from you. By the way, vaccines keep your kids alive and do not cause autism. Seriously.

I dislike it when authors stick to canon closely, (dude, it's fanfiction! Be original. Go crazy! Also that OC you inserted is totally useless if the plot follows canon to the T. Clearly they're not even needed) because then it's just a rewrite of the original. Any fans of Katekyo Hitman Reborn? I recommend 'Kyoko' by Discoabc. There are so many plot twists that even if Discoabc goes back to canon, us readers will still be left in total confusion. It's awesome because it is unpredictable, instead of the usual cliche stories. A real gem of a story.

I think the belief in one's own ability is very important. Humans can do amazing things when pushed, but the brain is a limiter. Of course that can be a good thing, since we have the ability to chomp through our fingers like they're carrots but we don't because our brains stop us.

I also think a lot of mangakas need to stop portraying females in funny, but ultimately useless lights.

So recently I've been reading some Detective Conan/Magic Kaito fanfiction and wow it's both amazing and like 94% gay! It's a very good thing I ship KaiShin so hard. Anyway, I really wish there were (good) fics where Shinichi and Kaito teamed up for either a heist or a case because just imagine their minds working together!
