Story Update 29 May 2012: Finally, after over two months, my first fic is complete. My thanks to anyone and everyone who helped me through this, whether through PM-ing here on Fanfiction or through real conversation. Hearing a reader's thoughts on each chapter told me exactly what I should put in the next to keep people entertained.

1 August 2012: Ghost Stories is complete! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I sent it only to one friend for her opinion before submitting it here, but her word's as good as gold, so I know it'll be successful.

Special Thanks to my friends and allies, who stuck with me from the beginning and suffered with me to the end. Without your assistance in editing, providing helpful ideas and suggesting improvements, I wouldn't have been able to complete a product that actually has readers.

Description

First off, I am part of the brony community. For those of you who do not know, a brony is a fan of the TV program My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Bronies typically range anywhere from 20-50 years old and have become fans of the show for reasons as varied as the individuals themselves.

Interests

1. Origami has been a hobby of mine since early 2010, when I picked up a book containing instructions for some rather difficult insects. Since then, I have found diagrams and videos all over local libraries as well as the internet, folding somewhere between two to four hundred unique models and creating a few of my own.

2. MLP is a more recent interest of mine. I had been seeing ponies everywhere on the image-sharing site Reddit and heard much of it from friends at school. Skeptical at first, I could not believe my 15-17 year old classmates were so very excited about a show I had thought was for 5-year-old girls. After a couple weeks, curiosity overcame me and I finally watched the first episode...and the second, then the third...I lost much sleep that night and didn't seem to care.

After a while longer, a thought appeared: "Why am I watching this? Am I really spending my valuable time (since obviously all of a teenager's time is infinitely more precious than anyone else's) watching My Little Pony? What am I even..."

And the thought died there, replaced by laughter and the loading of another episode on YouTube.

3. I use a lot of Latin for some reason, both in my stories and in other speech or writing.

4. Other interests include computer games Starcraft and Age of Empires, the novels of R.A. Salvatore, short bursts of intensive research on random subjects, and the occasional witty comment elsewhere on the internet.

5. Finally: Fluttershy. None can top that. Your argument, however well thought out, is now defeated by the cute overload caused by this mare. That is all.
