I'm back from my trip to Europe! It was a lot of fun.

Just added: The River, a really random one-shot, and my first song fic! Tragic and angsty, as usual...why can't I write any happy one shots?

And...the ninth chapter of Poison and Prison, Comments, has finally arrived! Sorry for the delay, my brother was hogging the computer and writer's block was plaguing me.

Here are my muses:

I have three.

Kertala: my head muse, a gryphon. She's the only one who has the patience to write stories with more than one chapter, but she spends her time snapping at the other muses for not writing anything. She also has a very fiery temper.

"I do not sssnap. I teach, Brrreezefirrre."

Selera: an angsty firecat who only writes tragic one-shots, and with absolutely no patience for more than one chapter. She makes her characters absolutely miserable. Whenever the other muses need help portraying a character's sadness or miserable state of mind, Selera writes it.

:Firecats are dignified, Breezefire, and you are insulting all of us.:

Selera punctuates this sentence by seeing a doll of one of her characters, Parnit, smiling happily. Selera jumps on the doll, and shreds the doll into tiny pieces with her claws.

Now the gryphon and the firecat hear a horrible, butchered rendition of "Toxic" from above.

"Not again," Kertala murmured angrily. "Rrruuvel!"

The hawk circling around trees above them drifted down, landing on a branch directly above Kertala's head.

Ruuvel: a bondbird, is my third muse. He is obsessed with music, and constantly has at least one song stuck in his head, which he hums...badly...with his beak. He did the song part of The River, while Selera happily made the characters miserable for the rest of the story.

Those are my muses! Dysfunctional sometimes, but they can write...

-Poison and Prison- A young woman is suspected of a murder she did not commit, and is found guilty. The mysteries of the case and the intrigues of the Palace Court surround her, as Jaseen attempts to find the bottom of the quagmire of emotions and mysterious evidence, and discover who truly committed the murder. Along the way, she discovers many secrets which people would kill to hide. Chapter 9 added, Jaseen finds out about a mysterious comment Larle made once, which she can't understand. Can you? And, she believes she may have discovered the answer to who her elusive poisoner could be...

-The Death Bell- A Companion takes the last breath and the last look at the world as his Herald dies, and the Death Bell begins to toll. The world around him is grisly, and his pain seems unending, until his life finally falters and ends. A fic written in poetry format. An angsty and tragic one shot. *Complete*

-Scar of a Lifebond- A couple has loved unconditionally for 10 years, but now one of them finds their lifebonded, and quickly breaks the lifebond. All three of their lives turn for the worse, one life fatally ending, and this is a description of the breakage and how their lives are after the decision. Tragic and angsty, a one shot which happened to end up taking three chapters to complete. *Complete*

-The River- A man has hopes for his future, and dreams of becoming an Artificer, but his dreams are dashed when his life arrives at a tragic turn, and the former child, with no responsibilities, is forced to take a job and work to support his new family, hopes running away.
