Current Projects: Two projects are currently underway: Disconnect: I will hopefully manage to upload bi-monthly, on Wednesdays, but due to a variety of reasons, I may not be able to keep that up. I love trying new things and having fun with a project, finding new ways to tell a story or how to create one. Here's a list of such experimental works: those not included are simply prompts/ideas I had pursued with no other particular motive. Sneering Eyes: very first long-term project that I actually finished. Cold Past, Warm Present: very first attempt at a one-shot. Did become a two-shot though. Récompenses: writing in french! Wow, a new Site!: attempt at tackling the "meta" genre. I (we): an experiment with ultra-short chapters, written after finishing "Sneering Eyes" which featured notoriously and needlessly long chapters. This is when I started to create new projets with a real conscious intention to experiment as well. Backstory: spoiling the experiment here would spoil the end of the story altogether. If you don't mind that, skip to the very end of the last chapter: it's explained in detail there. The Reason Trilogy (Ruin, Remedy, Restore): the very first fanfiction project I pursued very seriously, planning it down to a T before starting to write it, finishing the first draft before posting it. Also trying to tell a story from the "bad guy"'s point of view, with heavy focus on character progression. A Matter of Hours: inspired by real events, also a...brave attempt at writing in the omniscient third person point of view. First project since I (we) I hadn't planned at least considerably beforehand. Change: an exercise with dialogue. Disconnect: my first long story (still in progress) that I started without considerable planning. While I had a vague idea of where I wanted to story to go, I had no notes, no character sheets, nothing. |
