Author has written 7 stories for Harry Potter, Card Captor Sakura, and Alex Rider. What About Me? I am SO, SO, SO, SO to the power of infinity sorry to those of you who have read and enjoyed my work. I'm really sorry that I haven't been able to finish ANY of them, and I probably will not. Notice how the last time I updated anything was in 2005? Yeah, beginning of high school for me. I kept meaning to update, but stuff like homework and you know, life got in the way. It's really a shame because I think a lot of my stories and story ideas were pretty cool, and I wanted to see them through, but I'm too much of a perfectionist and I'm waaaaay too wordy. I just HAD to put in the nuances, I couldn't just make it simple and easy for myself. But yeah, sorry guys, high school got in the way. And to top it all off, my old computer died, so until I can get the files extracted from my hard drive (which costs 150 by the way; total BS), I won't be able to go back and see what I had planned for some of these stories. Now I could just tell you the gist about some of them; I had the whole of Life Swap planned (pretty dzang awesome; big chase/battle that magically (pun intended) over dozens of countries and TONS of other awesome shtuff that was omg I wish I had the files; it was very character-oriented though but also very adventure-y LOVED IT) so I know how that ends, I know half of the ending of Prodigy (this culminating scene outside a helicopter that's all emotional; total worthy of the second to last scene of a summer action blockbuster; not even kidding--there's an explosion, somebody gets shot, last words to the most important person inside the helicopter when they were so close to escape, I swear, even I got chills), I know the emotional end of The Reason but I can't remember how the conspiracy played out, I know bits and pieces of how Always and Forever was suposed to end, Star Crossed was pretty damn awesome too, very emotional though, teared up every time I worked on it, and I really wish I'd been able to start the first like 4-5 on my "Coming Soon" list. Damn. Now I'm excited again. I'll see if my computer savvy friends can extract the files for me--or if my sister's computer savvy friends can do it. But then the problem remains whether or not I'll have the time ... but it really would be worth the wait. I don't know. I'm sorry. I don't know when the next time will be that I can write. If you want to just cut to the chase and see how it ends, just email me at mzhissyfits@yahoo.com; it's my old email but I still check it occasionally, which is why I know people still read my stuff. Stories: The Aftermath: DISCONTINUED. I give up. I wrote myself into a hole and I admit it. I was eleven. Leave me alone. Those of you who liked the story can go read Life Swap and To An Extent, which will tell you how it would have ended and skips through all the crap. I liked my general story for this one (where Harry and the gang help discover the cause and effects of the murder of a Hogwarts' student's parents) but the pace of the story just dragged because I put in too much extra information. It took me 5 chapters to describe just how rich the Cains were and ten to say that Liz seemed perfect but she was sad (duh, her parent's died). God. Urgh. Anyway ... to find out what happens in general, read Life Swap (where James and Harry switch and James is caught in the middle of this mystery) and To An Extent where Harry reminisces and/or regrets the end of the Liz Cain story, while dealing with other drama. Just gotta read between the lines if you wanna know what happened to Liz (you find out what happened to the Cains in Life Swap). Always and Forever is doing okay according to my reviewers (thank you!) so I'll keep that going. All we have left is that little sub-plot, which turns into a major conflict for both Sakura and Syaoran. In fact, Sakura becomes sort of a superhero again because of it, and when Syaoran joins her in her little crusade . . . things change. Now I could mean that they get together. Yay, happy happy happy. Or I could mean that one of them dies in their effort to do the right thing. Or I could mean that they no longer have feelings for each other - they get over their romance and announce it for once and for all dead and gone. Or I could mean that the tables turn, and somebody good turns bad and/or somebody bad turns good. Maybe I mean all of these things. You'll have to read. Summary: Syaoran abandoned Sakura ten years ago. Now that they're both semi-famous, their paths cross. You'd think that the flame would reignite, but it's complicated. Syaoran changed a lot, and Sakura doesn't like how he changed, and what he did in the process. To tell you the truth, Syaoran doesn't like the way he changed either, but he's too stubborn to quit. Then Sakura does something both brave and stupid - she steps in and becomes the anonymous hero to the other side of Syaoran's case (he's a lawyer working for the bad guys. what's worse is that not only is he good at it, but he's also good. conflict of interests). Syaoran unexpectedly begins to help her, becoming the person he once was . . . the problem is, Sakura has already moved on, without him. Now he has to prove himself, but even then, who knows what could happen? Haven't updated in a while. I have stuff I'd like to add to it ... but I'm much too lazy. I'll read some stuff over. The last few chapters were, to say the least, unsatisfactory. Anyway, thinking about discontinuing it. Prodigy is an Alex Rider fanfic. Summary: This story will take place where Alex is recovering (right after Scorpia). He's alive, but in some ways, he's worse off. He's being held in a top-secret spy recovery center (haha that sounds so corny but whatever I don't care). He refuses a mission but is unaware that he is condemning another kid to suffer his fate. This person then has to go into hiding and ends up at Alex's school, unbeknownst to him. He wonders why this person seems to hate him so much and discovers why when they receive their first mission together. This mission involves a home for young geniuses, like themselves - prodigies. It seems a bit odd, but once they discover what the place really is and what the doctor is up to, the alarm bells start ringing. What is the doctor doing? Who are all of these kids? And what's with all the secret passages in the place? Completely stupid, but I don't care. Enjoy! Where Eagles Fly is a Katie/Oliver fanfic. Summary: This is basically just all the moments that Harry isn't clued in on between Katie Bell and Oliver Wood. They don't get together until after school because for one thing, it doesn't say they do in the books, and for another, they're two years apart and it would be sort of weird for a 14 year old guy to date a 12 year old girl. I mean, it's been done, but ... no. There's just a collection of cute moments. I skip a bunch of stuff that's alreadyin the books. Mostly Quidditch games & stuff. One really cute moment after the Quidditch final in Harry's third year (Katie's fifth, Oliver's seventh). Some cute stuff after Katie graduates. FLUFF. The Reason is a Draco/Ginny fic in a cool way. None of this "oh my god i loved you all the time, deep down somewhere i knew it" crap. No offense, some of that is actually written really well, but some of it is just ... so ... emo. Gross. Again, not trying to offend people who are really emo (HA there's an oxymoron for you!) but I sort of lose sympathy when I know it's not really real, you know? Unless it's tragic, there's no point in being mopey BUT (and I think I might be contradicting myself and my philosophies by saying this) this fic is sort of angsty. It's really sweet though. It would be really adorable if it were told mostly from her point of view, but I thought it would be more interesting from his. Anyway ... Summary: The "war" (as it has been fondly dubbed by the fanfiction community - which means this takes place disregarding anything that happens in the actual series after the fourth or fifth book) has been going on for a few years. Long enough for Draco to convince almost everyone he's changed his spots, and long enough for Harry to become an Auror. Draco becomes the mole that the Ministry, who don't know his identity, refer to as "the dragon" - as heard from spies inside Voldemort's circle. Draco doesn't know about spies. He only knows that if one of the people supporting Voldemort gets thrown in Azkaban, he gets them out . . . without getting caught. But Draco is growing bitter, taking orders from people who give him no respect . . . from people who use him. But he doesn't have a reason to change. It wouldn't be worth it to break away. But . . . One day he loses control. One thing leads to another and ... He is sent to something equivalent to a therapist. Somebody who makes sure that everyone working in the Ministry are fit to do so. After training in Occlumency, Draco thinks it's safe. But his shrink, who remains anonymous, as all of them do, gets to him. He realizes that he really does want to change . . . but he still doesn't have a reason to. There's nothing good enough on the other side, the good side, to entice him to take the risk. But of course his shrink doesn't know that. She thinks that it's just because he's lazy. That he's too used to the way things are. Which is true in part . . . but if she only knew. Once Draco's cleared, he starts working again, and getting out again. And then he finds out who his therapist was. The one person who understood him was the person he'd least expected to- it was Ginny Weasley. He didn't recognize her until he saw her with her usual company. But more importantly, she still doesn't know who he is (an extreme sort of patient/doctor confidentiality thing). More of the story, keep reading! Because I'm only updating if I get more reviews - which is a shame because I like this story. Maybe if I have time I'll just finish it up regardless. Life Swap is a Harry Potter fanfic. It takes place during the middle of The Aftermath. And it's apparently really popular - thanks guys! I owe you guys new chapters ... I have them all planned out - it's just getting down and writing them that's the problem. I tend to be really long-winded and superflous sometimes, in case you haven't noticed. I should just stop writing dialogue. It takes too long. No just kidding. Anyway ... Summary: Harry nearly dies and slips into a coma at the same time and date as his father, James, gets knocked out by a bludger ... twenty five years earlier. In this time that they both spend unconcious, they switch bodies/minds over time. This must have happened for a reason ... so what exactly is it that they're meant to do for each other? How is it possible for them to switch places? Because Harry can't be killed by anyone other than Voldemort so something sent him elsewhere - his father's body. Since they both couldn't inhabit the same body, James got sent into Harry's. By doing so, James saved Harry's life. But that doesn't mean that Harry's home-free. He can still be killed by the Voldemort in James' time. How? Just read. Star Crossed Summary: Isn't it strange how two guys as great as Sirius Black and Remus Lupin remained bachelors? This is my theory of what happened - and not one that involves them being gay together. Sorry, but I found this version of events more interesting. Would you like some spoilers of this story? Sirius was actually engaged, but then he got thrown into Azkaban. Poor Cecilia. If she only she had believed Sirius when he said he was innocent. And if only she hadn't believed her husband when he said his dying wish was for her to be his wife. Terminal disease. What an ass. Well junk happens, and more junk happens, and we have a single Sirius who will die soon after this story ends. Remus Lupin had a steady relationship before things got messed up when Julianne's family discovered he was a werewolf. And then there's Julianne's maniac of an ex-boyfriend to consider. Anyway, bad things happen ... and eventually, Remus Lupin ends up with Tonks so it's all good. Don't worry. Only the stories are tragic. The boys get their happy endings. Maybe not their ideal endings, but happy enough. The world isn't that sad. At least not the one I made up in my head. Upcoming Stories Opposite Ends Tidbit: A Harry Potter/Chrestomanci crossover. What happens if Chrestomanci helps in the fight against Voldemort? Enchanter's magic is substantially greater than wizard's magic, right? But since Chrestomanci is in a completely different world with a completely different type of magic, anything could happen. And it does. Everything from turning the Minister of Magic into a chocolate bar to making Diagon Alley disappear. Humor. Here's some actual storyline for you: Chrestomanci shows up for a conference with the Ministry of Magic as is traditional - just like it is for the Minister of Magic to show up in the Prime Minister's office every now and again. But his meeting is interrupted by a Death Eater raid and Eric, the Chrestomanci of the moment, decides to lend a helping hand (and ultimately losing another of his lives, but that isn't important unless you want to read The Best of All Worlds). Chaos ensues. Eric explains different worlds to Harry. Harry visits one (in this story, anyway - collectively he visits at least two) and meets someone whom he thought he would never see again. (That's the only bit of drama you'll see in this fanfiction. But knowing me, I'll probably unwittingly spin that bit out. Sometimes, I just don't know what to do with myself.) To An Extent is the sort-of sequal to The Aftermath, Life Swap, and Opposite Ends. The saga continues? Well, doesn't really continue any of those stories, but it does provide some closure (especially for any unsolved mysteries left from TheAftermath that weren't dealt with in Life Swap, and of course Opposite Ends which precedes To An Extent)Anyway ... Tidbit: Harry's connection to Voldemort concerns something bigger than that spell cast upon Harry as a baby, something bigger than brother wands, something bigger than similarities such as looks, power, and upbringing . . . and the connection is bringing up the memories of a now completely dead and gone Tom Riddle . . . before the Voldemort in him started corrupting his actions. . . back to when Tom was a boy . . . back to when he was young, innocent, and most importantly good. Lost in Thought Tidbit: Harry Potter fic. May include some vague storylines(mostly just cameo appearances/mentions of characters) from To An Extent and subsequently from OppositeEnds. Harry's daughter falls through a really enchanted Pensieve. It seems to the Potter family history from James Potter to Harry. The Pensieve takes twelve year old Victoria Potter to the days of . . . her grandfather. What's worse is that she doesn't even get to stay in the Marauder time - she keeps getting transported back and forth from then to Harry's days of youth. And in addition to that, she doesn't know how to stop it. What does that mean? She can't get home. But she does have some adventures. She helps Lily and James get together. She stops a close call that would've gotten the Marauders caught. She convinces Ginny to throw away the Riddle diary. She leaves a book with information about a Basilisk in just the right time and place for Hermione to find it. She even saves James' life. All fun! The Best of All Worlds Tidbit: An Unofficial Chrestomanci Chronicle lol. Katherine, Kitty, Chant is from the world 12C. As Eric Chant searches 12A for a new Chrestomanci, he stumbles across something curious. Somebody appears in many history books, in some way or another. It seems that Kitty Chant can spirit travel like Christopher Chant across worlds. But she can also time travel from world to world. The only thing is that Kitty won't stay in one time or place long enough for Eric to find her. He only has one life left to live and his time is running short from a terminal disease. Can he get her in time? Includes some stuff from Opposite Ends. (Basically, Chrestomanci's story after Opposite Ends - happens at the same time as To An Extent. It really has nothing to do with Harry Potter ... but they'll probably show up. I won't be able to stop myself lol.) Payback's a Bitch Tidbit: Artemis Fowl. Someone even smarter than young Mr. Fowl is after his money, his ideas, and his secrets. Not to use them, no. Just so that they can leave him with nothing. Who is it? And why are they attempting to ruin his life? But since this mystery person is after his secrets, guess who gets involved. Thing is, even the LEP can underestimate this mudman and if that happens, all hell can break loose. An Allison Rider Adventure Tidbit: Very similar to Prodigy. Includes a lot of people from Prodigy as well. Actually, it's kind of a sequel. It takes place 25 years after Prodigy, anyway. Alex Rider had a daughter and disappears when he's out to find her (not dead) mother. Since this was not a government authorized mission, MI6 isn't touching it . . . or at least that's what everyone thinks. It's the reinstatement of MI6 Black Ops, introduced (later) in Prodigy and they enlist the help of Alex's daughter; Allison. Of course, she doesn't know anything except that her dad is missing at the moment. How will it hit her when she finds out the truth? And which friends will she turn to for help? Eternal Love Tidbit: It's Miss Saigon meets The Five People You Meet in Heaven. So basically, Chris dies and he meets his Five People. Included is a pop singer whose cancelled concert allowed him to meet Ellen (who's not dead yet, by the way). Also, a witness to Kim's struggles throughout the war and afterwards. Lastly, of course, Kim herself. When heaven is a place where you get your life explained to you, it become clear to Chris that his life wasn't as screwy as he thought it was. Things happen for a reason. Some things happen to fix mistakes that other people made, and to provide oppurtunities for one to redeem oneself. The latter perhaps, is more significant in Chris's case.
