 Hello I am a writer on fanfiction. This is a different account than where I write. I will not tell you who I really am. I am just here to help authors. I would just like to say I am a nineteen year old girl that has been on this site for almost six years. I do know what I am doing on this site. For starters I am a proud member and creator of the Authors and Readers United forum. So if you are here to bitch me out I am not like the Critics. I am completely different. I have created this account on the purpose of helping people. I want to help writers get better and help them follow the rules. I am not gonna be annoying about it like the Critics United people, but I will help anyone who wants it and I will back off if they don't. I will help people only with genres I read. I will work on getting a bunch of authors in on this movement with me. I have recently been attacked by the Critics United people. They are not nice. I will not say who I am. I will just say that I hate being targeted by the Critics United. It is not fun having to deal with them. They are a self righteous group of people. I have checked out their forum. They sit around and pick out stories that are not up to the rules and then they all go spamming them until something is done about it. They are annoying and think that they are the shit. I have read what some of them have to say and it's laughable. This is just my opinion of them. OK the reason I am doing this. I want to help people. I want them to get better. I know there is always room to grow. My writing skills are always growing and getting better. I know there is no such thing as perfection. I am very open about what I read. I want to help not hurt anyone's feelings. So if I have hurt your feelings I am sorry. I did not intend to do that. I only want to help. I always try to stay positive, but it you come yelling at me I won't be nice. I will come back yelling as well, figuratively anyways. I am generally a nice person unless you piss me off so be warned. I know there a lots of things on this site that are against the rules. I will not be nit picky though. I will only talk to people I think need it to the fic that i read. I will not go out of my norm. I am working on getting writers of all kind here though so help with my cause if you want. So before you go blazing in here and mad at me for reviewing honestly step back and think. I only really want to help. One thing that really bugs me about this site is how lazy people have gotten with their reviews. I mean yeah some fics are amazing, but what ever happened to actually talking about the story in a review. Nothing annoys me more than a review like this, 'Great chapter.' or 'loooved it Cant wait 4 the nxt update.' I mean seriously what ever happened to give actual reviews. I am not saying to be mean about reviewing, no but actually taking the time to say something nice and thought out and actually criticizing a story. No one ever wants to hurt someone's feeling by giving a bad review, but if the story is that bad there are nicer ways about going about it than saying that something sucked and that's where I come in. I want to help people get better. Another thing that annoys me is that there are rules for this site and people do not follow them. I mean they are not really that hard to follow. We have to agree to them every time we want to post a new story. They are there and not that long. Just take a few minutes to read them. Ok this is for those who have not read the rules here they are. Here is a list of conducts that should always be observed: Spell check all story and poetry. There is no excuse for not performing this duty. If you do not have a word processor that has the spell checking feature, use a search engine such as Google.com to find one. Proofread all entries for grammar and other aspects of writing before submission. 'Hot off the press' content is often riddled with errors. No one is perfect but it is the duty of the writer to perform to the best of his/her ability. Respect the reviewers. Not all reviews will strictly praise the work. If someone rightfully criticizes a portion of the writing, take it as a compliment that the reviewer has opted to spend his/her valuable time to help improve your writing. Everyone here is an aspiring writer. Respect your fellow members and lend a helping a hand when they need it. Like many things, the path to becoming a better writer is often a two way street. Use proper textual formatting. For example: using only capital letters in the story title, summary, or content is not only incorrect but also a disregard for the language itself. Entries not allowed: Non-stories: lists, bloopers, polls, previews, challenges, author notes, and etc. One or two liners. MST: comments inserted in between the flow of a copied story. Stories with non-historical and non-fictional characters: actors, musicians, and etc. Any form of interactive entry: choose your adventure, second person/you based, Q&As, and etc. Chat/script format and keyboard dialogue based entries. Actions not allowed: Multiple entries of the same material. There can only be one copy of any unique story on the entire site. No exceptions. Rewriting names of characters/locations of one story in order to upload to multiple categories. Copying from a previously published work (including musical lyrics) not in the public domain. General rules: Entry title and summary must be rated K for all audience. No exceptions. Entry must be given the proper rating. No exceptions. Entry must be placed in proper category. No exceptions. Chapters of the same story are not allowed to be submitted as separate entries. All chapters/segments must be grouped together using the 'edit/upload chapter' feature in the left menu.
