My email address and pen name are both in French, but that means nothing about me and my abilities of speaking or writing the language.

'Pur laine' means 100% original--direct translation: pure wool--essentially my ideas and no one else's unless otherwise specified. That's the meaning behind my choosing 'Pur Laine.' Nothing more, nothing less. It's as simple as that.

About me now... let us see... I'm a girl and I am fourteen. I do speak French and I've gone to a French Immersion School for nine years in total. This year was my first year in high school and so far it has been a hellish experience involving useless teachers and pointless homework all around. Entering high school for me also marked my first year of core French which I thought was great since I really suck at it. On my report cards for French, I was used to... let's say... 65-70% tops. If I did better then Hooray for me! Otherwise... well whatever... This year I can say that my marks are certainly higher with the whole 'core French' thing but the bad part is, is that the teacher thought I was too advanced and so did my mom, so my mom wanted (and forced) me to switch up... So now I'm in Grade 11 Acedemic French... Joy... Because that really makes me happy... *rolls eyes* anyways... how did I start talking about French? Oh well whatever. I should actually go now... I've got French homework to do now... Fun...
