Many, many seasons before the era of Firestar, during one of the harshest leaf-bares that the five Clans of the forest have ever seen, Frost, a young kit, is left alone in ShadowClan. Unwanted by her father, and orphaned after the death of her mother, Frost must fight for friends, for love, and for her place in a Clan that never truly accepted her.
