(Drabble) Fitzwilliam Darcy finds himself in a very compromised position after the Netherfield ball. This is a very short drabble I wrote while I was a little jet-lagged. It just appeared in my head and I had to write it.

After Caroline's mother died, she did not turn off the switch. She instead decided nothing was keeping her in Mystic falls, she wanted to see the world in order to forget. While perusing the letters from Jane, her headache worsened and a fever seeped into her body. Exhausted, she fell asleep on the writing desk - and it was in that state how Mr. Darcy found her.

A series of unfortunate events make Wickham's entrance into Meryton quite a different spectacle. And five months later, he learns that luck can be even less of a lady.

This is a piece, more for my own understanding of exactly what occurred at the Meryton Assembly, is from Darcy's POV. I was struck by the few words but significant expression when I re-watched the BBC production at the time his character was initially introduced into the story. There was pride and prejudice aplenty at that gathering, from more than one quarter.

What if Georgiana had been at Netherfield? How would it change the story?

One week after the Netherfield Ball, Lizzy receives a letter from Georgiana Darcy informing her that Mr. Darcy is gravely ill and asking for her to come to London to be with him.

This takes place after Darcy and Lizzy are engaged. Darcy hasn't kissed Lizzy yet and she is starting to feel insecure, but of course that won't last for long. Oh, and did I mention it's raining;) Regency.

Dinner. Dancing. What's missing from the classic "Beauty and the Beast" date scene? A make out session afterwards, of course.

Shamelessly conceived after reading CheshireSorrow's Liberties Taken (May I suggest you read it). Warning, it is a little risqué for 1813. Mr Darcy finds himself in a rather sticky situation during the Meryton Assembly. Not yet introduced to Miss Bennet, they find themselves compromised and made to marry. And so the fun begins. When Elizabeth and the Gardiners visit Pemberley a year early, a bond of friendship and sisterly love forms between Elizabeth and Georgiana. The repercussions of this meeting change completely the way Elizabeth and Darcy interact once they finally meet.

Life is full of dreams that come true, dreams that do not and Nightmares! What if something sinister happened on the walk to Meryton? My first fic just fyi... please review!

Ms. Austen-P&P "...she found herself suddenly addressed by Mr. Darcy who took her so much by surprise in his application for her hand that, without knowing what she did, she accepted him." Let's willfully misunderstand her words shall we? Let's see where it takes us.

Elizabeth, in an attempt to escape Mr. Darcy when he catches her reflection in the mirror at Pemberley, falls down the stairs and breaks her collar bone, forcing her to remain with Mr. Darcy until she recovers. Complete

What if, after Elizabeth's very clear answer to his disastrous proposal, Darcy does not flee the premises but stays and berates himself and his substandard social skills? They might come to an earlier understanding... This was originally meant to be humorous, but turned out quite plausible, I think. Not to be taken too seriously. Oneshot. Elizabeth runs into Darcy during Jane and Elizabeth's stay at Netherfield

Elizabeth never meant for this to happen. One mistake-one simple mistake-and her life had unraveled around her. Now, on a path she never expected or wished for, she must learn about herself, about the things that are lost along the way to who we will become, and about the power love has to heal as well as to harm. After such a mistake, can she truly ever be happy again?

Transparency proves dangerous when Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy face life-changing consequences as a result of his defense of Lydia.

What if Darcy simply could not leave without knowing how Elizabeth reacted to the contents of that all important letter?

Darcy's past hardships alter his views of love and marriage so much that he makes choices none who knew him would have anticipated.

What if a certain confrontation happened a good deal earlier, and a little differently? This bit of fluff takes place soon after the Bingleys extend their invitation to the Netherfield Ball.

Darcy takes Elizabeth's words of rejection to heart. Set post-Hunsford proposal. Darcy's PoV. I wrote this story ages and ages ago, and have published it elsewhere online. Just adding this on ff now.

Elizabeth Bennet, on her way from Kent to London after receiving Mr. Darcy's awful proposal and life-changing letter, falls victim to a freak spring snowstorm, and the only man who can save her is the one she had totally rejected as "the last man on Earth she could be prevailed on to marry."

This is a regency "what-if" story. What if after Collins proposed Lizzie went wandering in the woods. Mr. Darcy just so happened to be out for a ride, trying to forget a certain lady(wink wink nudge nudge) when he comes upon Lizzie who is telling the trees her troubles. Pure romantic fluff.

What happened after the meeting in the mist? Movie verse.

Co-written with Jancat10. In this Twelfth Night role reversal set at Rosings, Miss Anne De Bourgh and Colonel Fitzwilliam appear to have switched personalities and bodies, resulting in some rather farcical goings-on and an earlier-than-usual happy ending for Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy in an otherwise canon-ish setting. Two parts plus an epilogue, complete.
