New story! Well, one I've been working on for a while, but just started posting. Where the hell did Group Therapy come from? Well, my roommate and I (who I watch SPN with) have a bad habit of taking two hours to watch a 40 minute episode due to our discussions and my ranting about how they should do this or that or just, ya know, talk stuff out. I'm a psychology major, and in some of my classes, I can apply certain concepts to the Winchester brothers, so I decided to just go ahead and put them in therapy. Obviously, this will change the main story a bit (the part that happens between sessions), but I don't see it changing too much before 2.15 Tall Tales, because that's when they meet Gabriel/Trickster for the first time, and with them meeting with him and Castiel in their dreams for a year by then, they'll already know who he is. But, we'll burn that bridge when we come to it.

As for other news: Everything else is still in hiatus hell. Thank you to those of you still reading my older stories. Sorry, I don't know whether I'll ever get back to any of that.

I recently posted the latest chapter for Once Upon a Time. Sorry for the months long hiatus, but with my creative writing class, and tackling NaNoWriMo for the first time last year, I needed to take a break from any and all writing. But then, during my history class, while we were watching a movie, I wrote most of chapter 3 of Once Upon a Time. Matt started telling me his story again, and I had to write it down. Chapter 4 is in the works as well, but that depends on how much time I have in my history class to write... without getting caught... and how long inspiration will stay with me. Peace, love, and all that jazz.

So here's the deal. I don't know when or if I'll ever update these. I've been writing original fiction more since I don't think my creative writing teacher would like me turning in fanfiction to her class. I'm not going to take my stories down, but I don't think I'll ever continue them. The one exception is Meeting Uncle Saetan because that's more my sister's story than mine. About me: I am a 21-year old college student who is trying to balance school and writing. I also have a problem with writer's block, so if the next chapter is long overdue, that's probably the reason. I have been on this site for years, but am just now trying my hand at writing. I am an avid reader and writer, but I am not so confident in my writing abilities. You could say that my stories on here are part of an experiment to get me more confident about my writing.

About me as a reader: I started out reading mostly Harry Potter fanfics, but have branched out into other fandoms. Current fandoms (read obsessions): Death Note, Sailor Moon, Harry Potter, Kingdom Hearts, Supernatural, and Doctor Who. I will read most genres except horror, and most pairings as long as they are plausible. Slash, het, whatever, as long as you can make it work in context.

About me as a writer:

I have a bad habit of writing a couple of chapters and then abandoning a story. It's not because I want to, but I sometimes just lose inspiration. Apologies to readers of Educational Decree and Study Group, but I haven't been able to get into the right frame of mind for those stories. I have the Head Meeting half-written, but whenever I sit down to write it, I get blocked. So for now, those two stories are on a hiatus for an undetermined period of time. Meeting Uncle Saetan is also on a hiatus, because my sister lost the notebook that we were writing it in. Once again, sorry to everybody who has been following those stories and hoping for another chapter anytime soon.

Meeting Uncle Saetan: This is a Mercy Thompson/Black Jewels crossover that has Mercy staying the summer at SaDiablo Hall with the coven and the boyos. This is a joint project between my sister and I, so posting will be sporadic. (BTW, the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs and the Black Jewels series by Anne Bishop are awesome. Highly recommended series.)

UPDATE: 2-24-10 The next chapter for Meeting Uncle Saetan has been posted if anyone is still reading it. The fic is alive!!

Educational Decree 24: This is my baby. A Harry Potter fic about Umbridge's Educational Decree and the student's reactions to it. Harry and Hermione get the idea to boycott meals and class in compliance with the new Decree. It was originally a one-shot, but I got requests to continue it, so I am continuing it. Most likely OOC Hermione and Harry

Update: 2-8-10 I got a beta, so any future chapters shall go through her first before posting. The poll results said I should break up the meetings into separate chapters. I currently have Gryffindor and Slytherin done, but I need to write Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.

Study Group: This is a side-story to Educational Decree 24. This is a group of one-shots about Hermione and Tracy's study group, and most likely focusing on the unlikely friendship between a Gryffindor and a Slytherin. This will be updated more sporadically than Educational Decree 24, but when I'm stuck on that one, I'll probably work on this one.

Once Upon a time: This is my new Death Note Story. It is a Whammy Era story about Matt, Near and Mello. I'm focusing on the relationships between the boys and what brought them to the point that we see in canon. No pairings as of yet, but if I do decide to ship anybody, it'll probably be M/M. Don't expect a light and fluffy fic, guys. Our boys grew up in an orphanage specifically geared towards producing geniuses, which would screw most people up. Slightly AU, but shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Happily Ever after?: Planned sequel to Once Upon a Time. What happens after the boys leave Whammy's? This will span from the time the boys leave Whammy's through the end of canon.

Group Therapy: New Supernatural story. This is exactly what it says. Dean, Sam, Gabriel, and Castiel are put in group therapy. This starts from the pilot episode and goes through episode by episode. I got tired of the boys not bringing stuff up, and decided that they would really benefit from therapy. My roommate is helping me write this and betaing for me, as she'll rewatch the episodes with me and add her two cents. Also posted at dreamnapping.tumblr.com
