Hello all -- I haven't updated my profile since 2014 and with 2017 knocking on the door, I figured better to update now!

My name is Kristin and I am a lover of fanfiction. I am currently working in NYC for a private bank (sold my soul to a financial institution and don't know when or if I'll ever get it back). I am two and a half years shy of the big 3-0, but still a shiny-eyed child at heart.

I have always been a Creative Writing enthusiast. I minored in English in college and was a Writing Tutor for over five years. When I was younger, I would have a notebook specifically for my ideas and stories. Whenever I would have a dream, I would write it down and create characters from that snippet of a moment I happened to remember. I have pages upon pages of scribbled notes and plots and characters that are waiting for me to dust off and pick up on again...

I love reading and immersing myself into the world an author creates. I especially love it when I can truly connect with the characters and follow them on their journey through the story. Nothing pleases me more when I can laugh along with the characters, feel anger or sadness for them, and, ultimately, just be invested in their development and story line. I have written my own stories and have created so many fanfics of my own--maybe some day I'll gather the courage to post them; however, I find myself reading a lot more lately than picking up my pen and letting the creative wheels spin. I've toyed with the idea of becoming a Beta for this website especially with my Writing background, but there's always time for that in the future!

A Just Because Random Fact: I am a classically trained opera singer. I've been more into musical theater lately, but I used to sing opera and did random off-broadway, community theater shows within the previous three years. It will always be a great love of mine, and I wish I pursued it, but hey, life has a weird thing of getting in the way, so I settled on letting it be very loved and cherished hobby.

Also, I am on Instagram (no FB -- been there, DONE that) as beauty.diablo .. It's on private but go ahead and request to follow. I don't turn anyone down. Unless you're a random adult-rated spam profile...LOL

I am not particular to one fandom... in fact, I love to overindulge and delve into many, many different worlds so much that it's hard to keep up with!

I've always been a hardcore lover of Phantom of the Opera. That will always be my first love. The story of Erik always gets to me!

I've also been a life-long lover of Star Wars. I grew up with watching it on almost every holiday, and break out the trilogy every time I'm feeling down. It always picks me right up. With that said, I am partial to Vader/Padme fanfics. It takes a lot for me to find something that fits my characterizations of Vader and Padme and when I do, I latch on like no one's business!

I recently started watching the Anime series Black Butler and I was just absolutely fascinated with the character of Sebastien. I like to explore different types of fanfics that incorporate the more sinister side of him because, after all, he is a demon! I guess you can say that I love sinister main characters or stories that explore the dark and dangerous. Who doesn't!

But, enough of the rambling!

I'll end my profile with this: Whenever I read a story that I absolutely love, or even one that I didn't enjoy as much, I will always review. I find it a disservice to all authors out there if you read his/her story and do not leave at least some love or form of constructive feedback. We are all human and you do no favors by not letting an author know what he/she can improve on or what you absolutely loved about the story they have created. When I used to write, it was the reviews from other people and the sheer appreciation of their feedback that got me through a lot of it. It works wonders! Read and Review always!
