Okay, it's about time I actually wrote something here ...

I'm an engineer from Texas who spends her time daydreaming about traveling the world! Luckily I have a fantastic job with lots of flexibility, so I get to cross a few countries off of my "to visit" list a year. Unfortunately that hinders my ability to be productive, sitting behind a computer for 10 hours a day. The only things that keep me sane are my incredible family, my amazing friends, and the beautiful outdoors! I'm an avid hiker and runner, and lately I've been tapping into my inner yogi. If you're ever in the mood for a wonderful workout you should give it a try!

I'm also a voracious reader! When I was younger I read every science fiction book I could get my hands on - if you can't tell yet, I'm a giant nerd - but lately I've been getting into the classics and contemporaries. I just finished reading Alan Bennett's "The Uncommon Reader" and Erich Remarque's "All Quiet on the Western Front", and I'm on to Robert Persig's "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" next. If you ever have any book suggestions for me I would absolutely love to hear it!!

One day I would love to write but I've never had an idea worthy of being written. For now, I just enjoy writing stories based off other people's ideas! :) I love fanfiction, and have been reading it for many, many years now, but this is my first foray into the world of writing and I'm pretty excited.
