![]() Hello, My name is Protagonist Jones, and I'm just a reader of fanfics. I haven't started writing of any sort, outside of my own personal writing log. My main interests go into comics, games, and anime, extending to the series that I've watched and finished, mainly those on Netflix. I can't remember all that I've seen, but to name a few series that I've seen: Psycho-Pass Soul Eater The Devil is a Part-Timer! Durarara!and Durarara x2! (Seasons 1 and 2, season 3 just got put up on Netflix, and I haven't started that yet. My Little Monster (which in my opinion isn't as good I was hearing it was)In terms of comics, I like the heroes of both DC and Marvel, although I find myself leaning more towards DC sometimes, but I like to read stories from both properties. Favorite DC Hero: Batman. The Batman mythos is just rich in storytelling, villains, and characters, and it's a mythos that I'm well-read in. The animated shows (specifically The Animated Series from the 90's and the animated series from 2004 {The Batman} are my favorites) and the 60's show with Adam West kept that interest in Batman strong for me. Favorite Marvel Hero: Spider-Man. I grew up having seen the Raimi Spider-Man films that starred Tobey Maguire as Spidey himself, and around that time the 90's animated series was still running reruns I think, and anytime it was on I'd make sure to see it. In time, I began to read up on his stories, and The Spectacular Spider-Man show kept that little spark going. More recently, I'm finding Peter Parker to be a very relatable character, outside of having his powers. I have to admit, with the MCU running strong, it's been garnering an interest in me for the rest of the Marvel universe, and while it may not be panel-for-panel accurate to the stories, it's done a pretty good job of introducing it to an otherwise unknowing public, while catering to the fans who have followed it for years. That's all I can think of right now, I'm sure there'll be more for me to add later on down the road. |
