Hi everybody! I'm Akal-Saris, a would-be journalist, anime fan, and avid roleplayer. I obviously enjoy anime, especially Lupin III, Love Hina and Rurouni Kenshin! My favorite anime characters are Motoko from Love Hina, Lupin and Jigen from Lupin III, Vash from Trigun, and Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin. I have a fondness for light comedies and romances, which are also what I usually write about.

It's kind of funny, but I haven't posted any stories in 4 years now, and even though some of these stories are so God-awful that I shudder when I read them, they still have a pretty special place in my heart. I graduate from college in 3 weeks and will probably teach in Japan over the next year - who knows if that will rekindle my interest in writing fanfictions? I think I stopped because I felt ashamed that I couldn't seem to bring my own characters to life the way that I could other writers' creations, and then I stopped writing stories for fun and started down journalism and other professional writing.

If you're curious about my favorites, I'd recommend reading Footsteps, the Wolf and the Weasel, and maybe Fantasies or Sunset Dreams. Honestly though, you're better off reading some of the stories in my favorite authors list, especially TheArchimage and Sekihara Tae-san's work.
