May 15: Finally updated "Anticlimax"! It's so weird - I enjoy writing the story so much, but it seems like it fights me every step of the way. Still working with it, though.

I write stories, too (obviously, if you've looked at the ones that I have posted), though I'm terrible at updating. So terrible, in fact, that when I actually do post a new chapter I feel inclined to brag about it in stupid notes, as seen above. But anyway...

I love action/adventure type stories, and other than the occassional angsty things I may think up, that's basically all I'll write. Romance is OK, if it's handled tastefully, and horror is great if I'm in the right mood: violent. Which happens all too often, I'm afraid.

The only chapter fic I've finished so far is "Reincarnate". I'm thinking of it as practice - getting used to developing a plot and writing battle scenes (which is why Chapter 12 was kind of anticlimactic: I'm still figuring this stuff out.) I now have a new fic up for the Bartimaeus section. This one's a bit more intense than "Reincarnate" and will probably be longer, and I hope that it's recieved as well as my other stories.

Right. As I said above, thanks to everyone who's reviewed my work - your comments and encouragement have proved really helpful and basically are what motivated me to stop being lazy and write.
